Does it matter what size case ?
@BoumanReloading15 күн бұрын
@long-range-eliminator If you had seen my response before this disregard, I thought you were commenting on a different video. No it doesn't matter on what size, bigger the shell the less you can run potential. Uve done 300+ of 223 at a time without issue. However, it doesn't work very well with mixed pistol brass of different sizes. The largest caliber I've run through it is 300 Weatherby Mag and 7 PRC. Both come out great!
@sapago416616 күн бұрын
The difference between .223 and 5.56 is that 5.56 has a longer throat and operates at a higher pressure. Twist rate isnt the issue. Perfectly safe to fire .223 ammo in a 5.56, but firing 5.56 in a .223 is inadvisable. You more than likely won't have issues, but the potential is there to spike chamber pressures beyond what the rifle is designed for. That said, cool to see some new reloading content on KZbin. Best of luck to you.

Made a few with 35 Rem and cast powder coated bullets. I used scew in eyelets. I added JB weld into the primer hole and then screwed the eyelets in place. Made a keychain and necklace about 5 years ago. Both still are holding up strong. I just polish the brass one in a while from the oxidation that builds up from touching skin and fingers.

I just bought my first 25-06. A Weatherby Vanguard Sporter in the classic wood stock. Seeing that lack of recoil when you shoot is exactly why I got it. I am a disabled vet and have torn up shoulders and a titanium neck. I got my Hornady dies and 100 pieces of brass in, along with some Nosler 100 grain factory seconds, 110 grain Sierra TGKs, 110 ELD-X and 117 Interlocks to test out.

@ryanelliott5216 if you're moving the brass a lot then yes I would recommend doing it in two stages. I'm only going from a 223 to a 204 size neck so it isn't needed. And after the first firing it'll be formed to my chamber and neck so it'll be even closer!
