I saw an accident where a tree that you could take your two thumbs and two forefingers and wrap around that spilt a 1977 Cadillac in half. And not only that but the passengers side was crushed onto the drivers side. The trunk lid must have been 200 feet from the weckage. The engine and transmission were out of the car. The torque converter was strewn out in the debris. The driver and passenger. Forget it. That little tree that couldn't have been ten inches around. Still standing there with only a bark wound. It looked like a plane crash. It doesn't make any sense to drive at those speeds except on a racetrack. But do you believe many young people would listen to that?

Artful, powerful, crushing, pure. Uncompromisingly serious and earnest. Every time I hear The Promise of Snakes, it takes everything out of me and makes me painfully aware of the bleakness to be found in the world. Other people have said it, but there is something physically impacting about this, something that just suffocates you underneath its monolithic size. This album is absolutely overwhelming. I think I've found my number 1. Peak music.

Hey thanks for preserving my first album. I never put this out on bandcamp because I never felt it was my best work. I believe all copies are sold out now I may have a physical copy or 2 left of the re-release this German label put out. This cover you have here is from a net label the dark tapes. They sort of just stopped operating. I had them release a free promo digital version of the album to keep it circulating as the pressings on cdr and tape were already very limited pressing. The same guy who made this cover for this digital release did the cover for my Nox Obscurum album out on cd on satanath records to be honest the guy was a bit of a putz towards the end. Anyway thanks for reintroducing this into the world, as it’s nice being I lost the master files to this album. Ps whoever has the digital files I’d like to get in touch so maybe I can upload this to my bandcamp. As the hard drive I had these files on are long dead. And I don’t own a computer with a cd drive.
