The released hit version is better in every way. Clearly this was sent to the pressing plant in error, which is why oit is so rare. Cameo pulled it right away, and had the correct version pressed up for almost all its sales. The incorrect version copies were probably recalled from distributors and destroyed. The only copies left are those that were kept by pressing plant personnel and distributor personnel, and maybe a few shipments got to a few stores.

An alternate take from Roulette's vaults? Most stereo versions of this song are drier and echo-less. I'm guessing this was recorded as an experiment.

@@aVinylDaniel Interesting mix, then. The Roulette/End label may have allowed this song with extra echo back in 1959, but they didn't, they went with a natural stereo mix. That was the common stereo version as it is. The original stereo 45 's on End Records are pretty rare. They were made for stereo jukeboxes made by Rock-ola and Seeburg. Regular mono 45's on End are more common.

How unique to say 'no copywrite infringement' when the song was LITERALLY STOLEN from Evie Sands, such a pathetic story, and if she knew about it she too is pathetic. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4qUg2Rvm8Sffrc

Great song. Thanks for posting. I notice you were using the "promotional copy". I believe yours is a double-A-side copy, without the flip side "You're All I Need To Get By". As far as I know, no one has ever posted the flipside on You Tube. You'd be the FIRST. (if you post it, which I hope you do, since this avid Angels fan has never heard it)

@@aVinylDaniel I hope I have whetted your appetite. Maybe you'll seek this rare track "You're All I Need To Get By" by the amazing Angels, from 1974. Their final single. I tried buying it on E-Bay years ago but it was WAAAAAAAY too expensive!
