What's funny is I just came from Corey Jacobson's video where he says to use your lips,😂

What vise is that ?
@vmhunters8 сағат бұрын
Is an adjustable shooting rest. I think the one I have may be discontinued. Caldwell has a similar one called zeromax.
@jrago62282 күн бұрын
Nice video, did you find the included rings to be high? Maybe aftermarket be better to hold and lower?
@vmhunters8 сағат бұрын
Good question. There is certainly room to sit lower closer to the barrel but I have not had any issues with it. Still using it and love it.

Amen God is faithful! Congrats on your land, expansion and being able to offer more classes/ trainings and such in other hunting game! My fiancé and I are excited for you guys and wish you all the best on all your upcoming adventures we can’t wait to hear more about these new opportunities you will have and be able to offer people to learn! We will keep you guys in our prayers that all these new opportunities go smoothly for you! I love the chair idea what a great way to remember! Also, God bless Lori, God hears our prayers for sure! My fiances’ mom almost passed away from Leukemia two years ago and was even on a ventilator at one point the doctors called us and said come say Goodbye to her we did all we can. That was not okay with us we prayed so hard that day and the doctor came out and said a few hours later she rallied we don’t know how or why but, she is stable. God is how she and our family explain it! God is faithful and God is able never lose faith!

Amen and all glory to our Father. Thank you so much for your blessings, your kind words and your kindness. This is Joe replying. And my faith and relationship with my Heavenly Father has always been very personal and private. However, I absolutely know this to be true… there is a God. And he is all powerful and loves each and every one of us. I also, like you, know the power of prayer. I have witnessed our Lord’s miracles. None of us are alone. Have faith and believe. Thank you so much for your message and God bless.

No famous hunter or celebrity hunter (Phelps, Jacobson, rinelnel, etc clowns) is even relatively close to as understanding of elk than Paul. Nor are any of them even close to as good of a caller. Facts hurt.

Why would you even think to say for them something they would never say themselves? Humbleness goes a long way.

Paul is not only an incredibly passionate, talented and successful elk hunter, he is also a great human being that loves the outdoors and the people that cherish the outdoor lifestyle. Each of the men you mentioned and all other hunters included. Paul was the catalyst for our bugle tube ever going to production and it becoming a reality. He is a great man and a friend. And man, the goat of elk hunters! But Steve, Jason, Corey and many many others are also all solid, upstanding, solid, passionate and sincere ambassadors of the hunting lifestyle. Each with a large following. And with all of the opposition out there to the things that we all cherish, our hunting traditions and heritage, it’s our humble opinion that we need as many folks like them and many others to educate, inspire, impress and promote hunting for the survival of our lifestyle. So we honor all. Thanks!

Thank you. It’s beyond special on so many levels. What this land means, the connection and memories there, the journey to be in this position to share a vision and a dream… it’s beyond explanation. And as someone that never had much financially as a high school teacher and a coach, but rich in so many other ways, most would have never thought this possible. But as God and his blessings are my witness… where there is a will, there IS a way. Thank you again sir. 🙏

I'm hunting 3rd season cows in November Colorado. What tactics do you think I should try. Thanks for your help
@ElkBros10 күн бұрын
When it comes to finding them, it will be feast or famine as the cows will be in large herds. And the key is the food. It takes large areas of good feed for those larger groups. Early morning glassing from high points will be key. Let your eyes do the work. If you have snow on the ground, they will stand out even better. If you do have snow, I am also looking for track coming from bedding areas to feed areas. Both with binos or spotting scope and by traveling roads and trails. If not disturbed, they are easier to pattern at this time and make a plan of action. Locate, locate, locate. Then the actual closing in, setup (must pay attention to wind even at 200, 300 yards!) and shot will be all that’s left. Hope this helps!

My fiancè and I always enjoy your show we don’t know much about Elk hunting but, we enjoy learning stuff from you all. There aren’t really Elk where we live though so we would have to travel some to elk hunt. My father would have loved your show as well he loved to hunt all kinds of stuff when he was younger he also, did commercial fishing, ice fishing and fur trapping. He even showed me how to set trot lines. Gosh, I miss my dad but, when I listen to your guys show it reminds me so much of the stories and adventures my dad had when he was still alive. Thanks for all the tips, tricks and laughs we appreciate you guys so much!

Thank you so much for sharing this. It’s beyond special and not taken lightly. I never got to share my passion for hunting with my dad before he passed. So for what we do to have that impact with others like yourself, that touches our heart as well. Thank you again.

You guys are absolutely right about the calling aspect!!! I think people are self conscious about their calling and scared to use it when they get out there. Youguys could make a whole series just on figuring out which diaphragms will work for am individual. People prioritize on gear testing, it's no different with diaphragms and its alot cheaper! Once you find what works for you it makes it so much easier to work on your skills. I think you guys should have a calling episode!!! Can't wait for the live next week!!! - Salem_swamp_yankee, Jason Schultz- Marlborough Connecticut

What do you do if an elk barks at you? Do you just bark back or do you add something to it such as a chuckle? Tom Roth Milton WI.

I have done both Tom. The bark is more of a demand to show yourself. While the bark chuckle adds the element of an invitation. Show yourself and come here. 👊

What are y’all’s thoughts & opinions on the Phelps EZ Bugler?
@ElkBrosАй бұрын
If you are partner calling, it is a solid sounding call. Like anything, it takes practice, but it allows you to do a lot. Chuckles, grunts, cow calls and great sounding bugles. We are not big fans of externals for solo hunters. Especially that are on a large tube. Once a bull does get within a visual, they are hard to use without lots of movement that will blow up a situation. But the boys at Phelps made a great sounding call of you put in the time to master it.

I stumbled upon your podcast and I really appreciate the fact that you are not sponsor driven/mini infomercial like other ones -- I will be going to my 1st Elk hunt this year in Folsom NM. I am nervous and excited all the same time - I enjoy listening to the podcast because it breaks things down for the beginner elk hunter - I am from Mass, but living and retired (Army 29 yrs) in Upstate NY. Thanks for everything. AJ

Glad you find value in what we do Art! Always a fine line with the whole sponsor thing. Still got to pay bills, but we are pretty particular about who we attach our name and time to. If we don’t use it, we don’t promote it. Thanks for listening!

Listening you all talk about the different pod casts. A tool I’ve learn over my time in the military is take the good from every experience and apply it to your own. That applies in hunting as well. Make all these educational tools work for you in your scenarios. It’s been working for me so far. Best of luck to everyone this year and I hope you get your tag filled!
