Awesome Grand Campaign rules! going to use these for my Star Wars solo campaign in Atravis Sector. Did you invent most of the mechanics yourself or find inspiration from other game campaign rules? Thank you!

Yes! When I first read that in the module, that's exactly what I was thinking about. I really enjoyed playing that scene. The player didn't know that movie.

Really enjoying it- hey, have you considered telling the story in “past tense” -like the PI is recapping the adventure over a bottle of booze at a bar. I love the voices- much like a radio show -

"My military training and his smoking habit come to terms." Love it! I remember reading about Gangbusters as a kid when I was just getting into DnD, but never played it.

Finland never joined the axis. They had an separate war against USSR. In the winterwar Finland considered Germany to be an allied with USSR. And they really was allied.

Really enjoyed these. Hope you do some more one day. As someone that's just getting into the game, is the Rules and Accessories box along with some planes all that's needed to have a similar experience (minus the home-made props) or are there certain expansions (level ups, pilots for example) that are needed? Thanks!

Thanks, man! I am actually planning on doing some more at some point. The only problem is I'm not certain when. It's been difficult getting through projects. But knowing someone's interested gives me a little bit of fire in the butt.

Great approach, suggest video pulls out a little more to see more context.

Definitely a great point. I should have done that more often in all the Memoir videos. Unfortunately I did them all around the same time, so I kind of had things a little too close-up throughout. I definitely need to have some more long shots when I do it again. Thanks for the suggestion!

17:22 what with Gollum special ability letting him to reveal ring bearers to lower corruption by 1? Is it timing? Btw great video, fun to watch ❤

My brother introduced me and my best friend Brett to AD&D. When we rolled up our characters, I didn't know what we were doing, but higher numbers were better. We went to a dungeon just outside of town where my character was killed by wolves. Brett went back to town where I rolled up a new character and we went to the dungeon when my character was killed by wolves. I was hooked - a game replicating medieval combat with paper, pencils, dice, and our imaginations - that was maybe 1978.

Slight suggestion: the DM should also briefly suggest a 'confederacy wins' campaign, which everyone immediately shoots down and DM is left butthurt

There you have it, a frightening look into America's most frightening pastime. Dungeons and Dragons: Satan's Game! Hahaha I love that skit, it's amazing. Nice to see someone else was thinking the same thing I was.

I'm so glad people get the reference. I wasn't sure if it was too old. I used to quote this with my D&D group almost every session. I still do with a lot of gamers. 😄
@talisredstar15434 ай бұрын
@@BandwagonGames I still remember first time I ever saw an 8bit version of that skit. I almost puked from laughing so hard. LOL. "I want to attack the darkness." I've known players that would do something like that just for the laughs., The best was we moving into an old castle, to get and item for someone, and sudden. You hear "whoosh, whoos, whoos" behind. We turn around expecting a dragon or something flying in. it was the class clown playing a low intel goofy Half orc, with a couple big leaves, waving them like wings going "Whoosh whoosh, Whoosh." turns out we had all failed a perception check. lol
@BandwagonGames4 ай бұрын
@@talisredstar1543 Oh! I had something like that in one of my games. The players were in a dark room, and I had some sort of spirit attacking them. They had to roll to spot it and no one succeeded. So, in desperation, one of the players said, "I'm going to... I can't believe I'm saying this... I attack the darkness."

Wasn't Game of Thrones originally Martin's GURPS campaign?
@BandwagonGames5 ай бұрын
I heard he created the characters after his turtles. But that would be really interesting if he created it out of a game of GURPS.
