I much enjoyed this, Russell. Happy new year and very well done you, as always! The plan you lay out is certainly straightforward and helpful - what's my "light on the hill" (my goal) and how will I get there? While I agree that the Why is more of a unifying device for teams and businesses, I always start with Who (am I - character, personality, strengths, shortcomings, experience etc and the context/circumstance I'm in), then Why (what interests/drives me) and Where (what success looks like). Now How (the plan to get there), What (the required tactics/detail) and, finally, the When (measuring progress). However, as a typical consultant, do I follow my own advice and achieve the goal every time? Haha!! See you soon please!!

In your experience, how has AI reshaped the consultancy landscape, and what are the biggest challenges consultants face when integrating AI into their workflows?
@RussellPearson3 ай бұрын
Overcoming fear to begin with. Most consultants I know are avoiding it rather than accepting it as a new way of doing business. They have trouble delegating their role and tasks to humans so AI becomes an even greater stretch.

10:27 for instance, was being discussed here has been ancient six months ago. Whether you’re talking about open AI offerings or anthropic, not only can you do what was shown to make it simply HTML, you can make it into advanced dynamic code like react or PHP. Further than that, you could integrate functionality that includes hover states and connections to databases . Literally 18 months ago, you could not do something like this with one person. Now, you can literally have a one person start up having an AI workforce putting out strong product ideas/solutions for your customers.

chatGPT and any type of AI is a cancer pure and simple as soon as it spreads it will be the tipping point of world wide economy collapse, jobs are 90% foundation of any economy around the world wether these AI developers like itor not, example when Apple start employing AI let's say in their customer service sector, a huge number of their employees out of jobs the offices around the world that Apple rented for the customer service will be vacant and empty which will make commercial real estate market collapse, eventually when more companies start employing AI in their workforce instead of humans, people won't be able to afford to buy Apple products therefore the company itself will collapse, but the world is going there and theres absolutely nothing we can do about it, business care about cutting current cost, overhead and increasing company profit for that juicy bonus but no one care what will happen in 5 maybe at max 10 years from now if every company started employing AI in their workforce
