This movie and The Lizard Lounge and songs from The Swingers rocked my 30 year old world when I decided to go to grad school at C-MU from 1981-83. Probably the best time of my life. THANK YOU: SAS Rogue Warriors S2E2 closing scene using another great Swingers song Counting The Beat. Great Times.

Sigh...I know a lot of people, like myself remember this film, and with it, the sights and sounds of Sydney, and Bondi Beach, early 80s. I'm so happy that it's been honoured, on its anniversary,and even moreso, that I'm not alone.

It looks STUNNING! Gosh, it burins back really great times and memories. I love this film. I remember when they were filming all over. A friend's of mine did day work, and dragged me around. Those are great memories. I want to get this. I still have the LP (still plays, bit it really needs to be cleaned up and brought up to date.

Starstruck is such a joyous treasure of a movie. Really likable characters, engaging plot and of course the music! Starstruck is my all time fave musical. The soundtrack is first rate from start to finish. I'm lucky enough to have the original vinyl from 1982 in really great condition. Still plays great. But it would be nice for the soundtrack to be remastered and reissued on CD. Hopefully one of these days.

No Blue ray as yet. The Remastered, Special Edition with Dolby, DTS Surround Sound, and in Widescreen is Available at Amazon for around 15 dollars........
