This ride wasnt removed because of the accident. That was in 2001 and was a operator error. It was popular. It was never THE most popular ride. But it was popular. People did ride it. I waited 2 hours for it once. It had loads of mechanical issues that caused it to have frequent downtime. Which led to its closure.

I never considered rotating the plywood so the edges overhang like you did. I currently have one 4x8 plywood on a 8 foot pool table. Nice setup thank you.

Sirian Perceptions Scramblers are literally at any Boardwalk and surf side gliders are surf and coast rider and coasters. To be fair I wish I had the chance to go on perilous plunge but the boardwalk is more about surfing now with hangtime so eh

It seems loud, have you ever used this in a setting where that has been a problem or is it only that loud because you are right next to it? Trying to use this in a theater setting.

They are loud, when I used them I had loud music playing so it wasn't as bad but still a little loud, if they are up high in catwalks shouldn't be so bad
