Dude my school seniors built an arcade and it had Contra in it. I played 2 player with my friend and we can somewhat reliably pass stage 2 but keep dying at 3 so i came to watch a run. I'm impressed at how fast you can go through it and so effortlessly

@@acedemonic142 whoa, that’s awesome that they built that! I’ve played this game so much, it’s just mostly muscle memory and the right combination of patterns coming together. Like anything else, it’s just lots of time and effort poured into it. Hope you continue to enjoy the game.

It was never clear to me just what ideology it was that Red Pants and Blue Pants were contrary to. I mean, obviously they were there to take out the vile Red Falcon, but, as Contras even teenage-me openly wondered their political motivations.
