Poor Moltres. I'm not an expert by any means, but I think pressure and flame body really do determine the ceiling for this thing. You said it, as soon as the Talonflame mirror came out with a superior ability, coach pretty much subbed him out instantly. I guess pressure could be somewhat helpful in certain slug fests, but is pretty much outclassed by any other ability in the competitive scene. Flame body is definitely a bit more useful but still is only a mild deterrent at best. These abilities just don't impact the game enough to give it a proper niche like Uno has with cloak and bright powder, or bulky static support Dos messing with speed tiers and para's. Great job on the video! Looking forward to seeing the worlds greatest Pokemon trainer in action!

The film you see in my video is a copy of the only existing match footage. The original footage was taken via phone camera by one of Tommy's friends. But I put the entirety of what is recorded in this video!

Very nice Professor Weeb! I'm genuinely curious about the history of Moltres. Of the trio, that's the one I've played around with the least. Also.... Day 1 of requesting to be schooled on the Slowpoke evolution line!

Yeah, and joking aside, I am impressed that this little mushroom is capable of defying power creep. Nearly everyone ruled out Amoonguss as a joke when we got Ogerpon, but the shroom didn’t succumb

Yes Rico, kaboom. Was brought here after thinking about using explosion Metagross in Reg F, wish it was still 500-ish base power. Still, even now in doubles vgc with non stab and spread, it acts like a single target 125 base power stab move, which is crazy. If normal type was better offensively I’d use it for sure.
