Couple of big things to consider, After the second wash, your car was too clean. This will eliminate the dry dirt, grim and bugs stuck to the body that will result differently. Even with that, you still got swirl marks which tells us one conclusion, if you care about it, STAY AWAY FROM ATUOMATIC CAR WASHER and do touchless or even better, wash it yourself.

My brand new car with only 7 miles in the odometer, the dealerships' carwash scratched the paint, then the dealership sent the car to the "detailing" department, nothing but a dummy pretending to be a detailer, he then buffered the car with either a dirty insert or the wrong attachment and left swirl marks with some scratches all over the trunk and hood then the dealership had no option but to send it to their body shop to get the trunk and hood repainted. What a headache.

Thanks for taking the time to do this experiment. Multiply those scratches times the eight years or so average length of car ownership and the results won't be pretty. And with the thinner clearcoat manufacturers are using these days you can run out of clear coat to do a correction with. But you have a legitimate point as to whether your time is worth riding around in a car with perfect paint

I bought a 2024 VW Jetta GLI 40th Anniversary Edition. Before this I had an Audi A4 and A6 (company cars). If anything, the GLI is like a smaller Audi. At least that's how it feels when driving it. Speed limits are too low to me now since I hit them really quickly and it feels like I'm driving slow when I'm not. Even on the highway, at 150KM/h, still feels slow. The handling is also quite good. Really nice cars.

I hand washed and waxed my car for 8 years and it was immaculate. The paint had not 1 scratch on it and the paint was so soft and smooth.

These vehicles are useful for people who buy a truck for the looks abd occasionally move a few things. BUT THEY ARENT TRUCKS. This just shows it, theyre too small and they arent capable of moving the kind of weight you need for this kind of stuff

It is very common for truck owners to not need their spare for 10 years and then, the !*@$$#&#@ thing will be stuck & will not come down. SO, what you do is this-If new, lower the tire & lubricate all the moving parts. If not new - FIRST-blast off all the mud & gunk covering your spare. Then see if it will lower. If not you may have to disassemble the mech to get to the tire. Then, free up the stuck mech & lube it up well & work it over & over & over until it operates smoothly. BOTH- every year or 2 , blast off the tire gunk & lower it & relube the mech. Work it some then put the tire back. See you in a year or 2 tire. !

How do you find the stability when maxing the bike? And when you tuck, does it get rid of the wind or are you still fighting it for dear life?

Tucking gets rid of a lot of the wind, still feeling some but helps a lot. Not sure what you mean by stability? It’s a very stable bike

@@hi_im_dar by stability I mean is there handlebar shaking when maxing the bike? I had a street triple and when I would max it the handlebars would shake and the wind would be unbearable, my neck would hurt after a ride where I've been pushing. Do you find stability and wind protection similar to a super sport? Since the tuono is relatively faired and also has a windscreen. Or would you say it feels like any other naked bike at high speeds? I appreciate the help man I've been contemplating buying this bike for a while

Buff or paint correction once a year along with waxing the car a few times a year and swirls will no longer be a concern

How is this possible? I mean shouldn't the sun be like the moon, phasing out and phasing in? But it is increasing and decreasing in size, what is the logic behind it?

The sun never changed sizes. What you're seeing are the rays of the sun becoming dimmer and smaller as the moon covers it. That and if you're viewing through a camera the sunlight can scatter making the sun look bigger than it actually is.

Yes, your right and that is what happens but this camera isn't good enough to see the sun move through phases. A filter is required because of the Suns brightness. There are plenty of great video taken with a filter looking at the sun as the eclipse progresses if you want to see the apparent phases as the moon passes in front of the sun. 👍👋

So as you can tell when you look at the sun... it's very bright LOL so bright it can blind you. Thankfully cameras can stare at the sun and (mostly) not get damaged. However the core issue still resides... the sun is extremely bright. So the camera not be able to get a clear view of the moon going in front of the sun, it will just record the lowering of the light levels until the light levels are low enough to the point where the sensor can clearly make out what it is seeing, and since the sun is so bright that moment doesn't come until mere seconds before totality. Just goes to show how bright and powerful our star is. Now the way people are able to capture those videos of the moon going in front of the sun during an eclipse is when they put a solar filter in front of the camera lense. The same filter used in those cardboard eclipse glasses that are all over the place. The way that filter works is it specifically only allows a small band of visible light to penetrate through it. Blocking out all UV & Infrared radiation as well as most of the visible color spectrum. This allows these glasses to allow you to look at the sun while not sending so many photos into your retinas that you go blind in 0.2 seconds lmao
