What are the rules on resetting the sled? What they are doing is adjusting the speed of the weight cart or adding/subtracting weight to make the sled pull different correct?

Great job on the video. Pretty soft track!! Tough pulling. Up heya in Maine at Skowhegan state fair we got pulls aug 10 and aug 17 both start 6 pm.

East Coast Diesel.. the only place I take my cummins to. Great guys there, fair labor rates and good work. Just had my dodge there a few weeks back for some work.

Ifs it's a Ford truck it should be required to have an International or ford motor in it . Not a transplanted CUMMINS out of a DODGE ...

It don’t bother me much I just laugh when some announcers say (LOOK AT THAT POWERSTROKE FORD!!!) when it’s got a straight 6 in it lol. Most people know the difference but I see what your saying. Theirs less and less of the v8 diesels in pro and super stock classes. And I think in the next couple years they will all go straight 6. in MY opinion it’s almost tough to watch the v8 pro and super stock diesels pull. The v8’s just like when they are stock no matter how you build them will never ever ever have the torque in the lower rpm range. Don’t get me wrong they are awesome motors that push THE SAME IF NOT MORE HP AND TORQUE NUMBERS it’s just they gotta be at a higher rpm to get those numbers. The peak torque and hp in a straight 6 comes at lower rpm’s which is why if the v8’s get below that peak rpm point they loose boost so much faster then the straight 6. A simple example would be I used to have a first gen 5 speed Cummins. My uncle had a brand new first year powerstroke 5 speed. We both towed identical 22 foot boats. He could keep up with me in the hills for the most part. The difference was in the big hills I didn’t have to downshift out of 5th gear to hold my speed. My uncle would have to downshift one sometimes 2 gears to keep his speed. Yes he kept up. But would have to downshift to keep his rpm’s up to stay in his peak power range while I just left my truck in 5th and just let it grunt. I’m taking a guess here but I think that’s why today’s semi trucks all run straight 6 diesels instead of v8 diesels. Sorry for the long comment. That’s MY OPINION I welcome yours. Also I’d like to say I think all of these pro stock trucks are just beautiful awesome rigs and I’d be proud to own every single last one. God bless.

Considering there’s about 10 stock components on those trucks with 9 of them being body panels I’m not sure it really matters much.

Hassler diesel runs a 7.3 power stroke and Jumpin jack flash and anything WDI Warren Diesel Injection is 6.0 powerstroke. There's several.

So the last pull is shown as Jon Manns in Rehok and clearly the truck is Crazy Ex and it's the longest pull.... So I don't know what's up but something doesn't seem correct

He was the first puller in the order and pulled but they reset the sled so he dropped to the last pulling position. The caption was just stating it was his rehook.
