The mainstream producers don't do it this way, most of my friends are metal heads let laughed when I got into hip-hop production but they said to make my hip hop instrumentals like rock and roll change ups and drops to make me stand out idk the exact words, I didn't go to college for music, they were kind enough to talk and teach me what they all leaned in college about music productions, so they progressed with their life in music and I actually got to have a life in music production, I'm an 8th grade drop out with tourette syndrome I'm 42 and from experience some people with a good education actually care for you understand your situation and teach you what they learned in college so as a homage I make music because no one like wasted valuable information

Very repetitive tho not very creative with change ups, I make hip hop and compared to other metal bands Metallica uses 1,2,3,4 in the manner if hip hop, I know music is only 4 notes but still tho. I add change ups 1,2,3,4 and what I call a drop, at the end of the 1,2,3,4, for instances... On the acid music studio 11 digital audio workstations time line. 1.4- 4.1, is where I apply 1,2,3,4 to all the patterns I make from open hats closed hats kick 808 etc etc, then from 4.1 to 4.9, which is the backend of 5.0, I will make what I call a drop to let the listener know it's going into the 2nd set of the Instrumental, we build 4 quarters bar that can hold 16 bars of lyrics then when I copy and paste. I'll paste on 5.1 all the way till 8.9 which 8.9 is at the back of 9.0.. so at 8.1 to 8.9 that drop that I call that I made I will change it up to let the listener know were moving into the hook or chorus, in the 8 bars of the hook or chorus you will hear the drop and then the change up to let the listener know
