It is interesting how the military, with all the money and government thinkers in the world can come up with such crap. I have a Finland one (of course I have the US/Canada one too) and it is a thin wall relatively square shape; the look like they toss them in the recycle bin rather than pass them along to the next soldier. When not playing with military kit, I either use new commercial hiker bottles or re-use pop/soda bottles.

58 webbing was incredibly tough and durable- it also soaked up water like a sponge! Broke a few finger nails trying to close the tabs on bum rolls when wet and I was trying to pack away by NBC suit aka 'Field Pyjama's!' lol L1A1 SLR was a superb piece of kit- loved it. Used it for the first 3 years in the reserves before switching to the SA80 pop gun. I served 19 years and loved it. I'd still select an SLR as a wpn if it was necessary to go to fight- all it needs is a Trilux sight.

Thanks for all your vids, I always looked forward to your content as it wasn't the usual airsoft nonsense you normally get. Going forward, I am pretty sure that we all would like to see you both duelling dressed as Roundheads and Cavaliers. Or maybe some Napoleonic based shenanigans. Military kit of opposing armies during the ages would be of great interest (to me anyway).

I'm still airsofting - mostly doing odd skirmishes with mates rather than Filmsim due to time/funds these days. But I always love a bit of surplus and militaria even though I haven't got loads of time for living history atm! Will be great to see what comes next

I have no interest in watching people play airsoft, and while some of your 'range' content and ballistics tests were interesting, the content I've enjoyed most on this channel is the history and equipment talk; uniforms, webbing, kit, etc. The 'talk show' format you did during Covid was actually really good on its own merits. It sounds like you guys are playing to your strengths, taking the channel in a direction that is both better for you, as well as (in my opinion) more entertaining and interesting.

Understandable anything that comes under the meta umbrella have closed accounts down etc for having rifs in the pictures etc. airsoft side of things I understand too I’ve not been playing as long as you guys but the past year I’ve slowly lost the enthusiasm as for it plus with work commitments and family life I maybe goto a skirmish once every few months these days. Tempted to try a milsim to see if the change in style will reinvigorate my passion for airsoft if not I’ll be selling up I think. Looking forward to seeing the new videos I like history etc so I’ll be sticking around for them

As a retro airsofter more interested in filmsim games and running surplus/impressionist kit I understand how the standard skirmish game is not your cup of tea. Hopefully you can still keep a toe in the water with the occassional themed games. 🤞

What a blow, although I totally understand. I haven’t played since November 2021 and couldn’t be happier. The game isn’t what it was. Don’t find it fun anymore. To be honest as an airsoft player myself, I am more interested on the gear such as uniforms, vest and footwear than I am on the actual airsoft gun.

So let me get this straight… they wanted to have the buttons on the left side and just used the already existing molds so now it looks like you have your headset on backwards? This looks odd to me.

I will still collect the guns but not play...i have 9 at the moment but i think i have only ever used 2 at best....plus i dont drive and most airsoft game sites are in the middle of nowhere...you really do need your own transport
