I love this spread. What do you use the planner for? I’m really curious. Is it just to remember little stories, or just to add appointments, etc.? Oh, by the way, I still have Making Memories alphabet rub-one, and they work perfectly! I won a kit from them at a Creating Keepsakes Convention. I’m glad that they’ve made a comeback.😊

I know you said there is a lot going on on this layout - & you're right - but I think the multiple patterns & colors support the theme of the page perfectly! I usually create in a state of (I suppose) visual chaos, as I have all my life. It used to drive my mother crazy because of the mess I'd make whenever I was crafting, sewing, etc. She just could never understand how I could work under those conditions. For instance, if I was sewing a garment, I'd have the (paper) pattern pieces all over the place as I sewed the fabric pieces together. She later learned through her teaching job about learning styles, & just kept having to remind herself after that that I just have a different learning/producing style than she. Thankfully for me, if she doesn't have to live with my mess, she doesn't complain. LOL And yes, I do clean up every so often! :) Anyway, thank you for sharing your process, & for the smiles. I was wondering if your daughter is settled in at college yet. Just curious. I hope all is well, at any rate. Take care, & have an awesome day! :)

I moved from a very large scrap space to a small one. Purging was an exercise in creativity for sure. For a year I only scrapped at crops so my fun time suffered but I made tons of new friends as I gave away all my extra supplies😉. I think you have your priorities in order. Play first , purge second. Great interpretation of Creative Chaos.

I completely understand your creative chaos and not wanting to get rid of some of your supplies. Some of the supplies are no longer being made and I sometimes worry if I were to part with them, would I ever need them.. lol! Great layout!

Always a fan of your large photo layouts, thank you. A little painful to look at but in a lovely way. I miss your white space but the papers and embellishments you chose look great together. Wanna have a clean workspace with less stuff? Sell your house! Can't tell you how much stuff I/we let go before moving. Feels great and I couldn't begin to tell you what I dumped. Love your room and now as burgeoning empty-nesters there's really no reason to declutter! Unless you move.

What a great layout! I love the large photo, showing exactly what the story is. This is such a gorgeous collection, but so busy! It’s perfect to tell your story. My husband put cabinets in my scrapbook room, and it looks so neat, but I really didn’t deal with the overwhelming chaos that lives inside. 😂 One baby step at a time, right? 😊
