Using a translator - This is the Achi Kuro Dance of the National Lion Dance Festival held in Iida City, Nagano Prefecture in 2010. It is a rare lion dance with a head of a skull, even in Japan. The highlight is the scene where they dance bravely, the exchange between the ox-headed emperor and the black ox, and the head is lifted to 4 meters above the ground. So - Question: I noticed the horns - is this a lion or an ox? Does the Ox prevail in the end? Is that a samurai? What is the story behind this? By the way, I LOVED it!!
