Isopropyl alcohol had a very strong smell and can be irritating to the respiratory system. Try chafing dish alcohol, it’s safer to use in enclosed spaces.

Terrible advice, cutting the edge with scissors will NOT leave a perfect circle which means the disk will be unbalanced, an unbalanced disk running at over 15,000RPM can easily disintegrate creating flying debris and projectiles that could badly injure the user.
