Nice vid! The old Subie indicator switch is a mecanical marvel, you just have to admire the way the hazards and high/low switching is integrated without the slightest bit of electronics involved

I've got an MF65 that I use to to keep my properties cut down but yours is way more healthy than mine. No way my clutch would pull that turning plow. I may have to use this as inspiration to go ahead and split mine open.

Thanks for that. Not had any problems with that piece in any of my MVs but as Subarino do a replacement part it must be common ? Saying that, here in England we never see some of the Astronomical mileages that Aussie Brumbies do😮. Thanks again...

Great video mate, I find it easier to leave the adjustment bolt out of the alternator to put the belt on. The alternator will move lower and give you more room.

Hello Michael, greetings from Uruguay (South America). I have a MF65 (VIN: SNDY 593580). I don't know exactly what year it is, but very similar to yours I guess. Your video is full of very usefull advice, and I'm going to study it very well, because I need to do the same job on mine, and I'm on my own too, so this information is priceless. Thank you very much! Very good content!

@@MichaelnJennyFrancis Thank you very much! I didn't have that information. I'm trying to bring it to a better shape, but it's going to take some time I guess. Your videos are a great source of information. And I'm learning all I can so I can put it to work again. Thank you very much! Have a nice day!

thanks mate this vid helped me find the sump plug easy first time working on the 120- jes its great access to the oil filter but I will need to use a few more rags next oil change to catch all the oil from the filter as it comes off. So easy to work on for an oil change compared to a vw golf! and half the cost in oil and filter! running 15w40 mineral/ semi syntehtic now- whichever on special at 317,000 km and going strong!

its normal. easy to follow someone around, so people behind you get annoyed. as soon as nobody is in front of them, they will drive normally.

This is proof that speeding works and is actually more efficient, the overtaking car was at least four metres in front at the intersection and is clearly the winner and also the better driver - said the Honda driver's ego.

In my country I learned that even when you drive fast you reach your destination at the same time than driving slow, so now I drive slow and chill, it’s better to get out sooner if you know you’re far instead of driving fast and don’t make it because your stupidity caused an accident.

the worst are mongs you see speeding and overtaking everyone, then 5 minutes later you see them up the road stuck at the same red light as you are not getting any further then anyone else all while putting other people in danger. the worst k hunts for this are losers that tailgate and overtake everyone all just to pull into a maccas or kfc drive through

Due to normal variance in instrumentation and sensor, normal changes in tire geometry as they wear down, etc., it's possible for a speedometer to read +/- 10% of your actual speed. Additionally, GPS is notoriously inaccurate for speed calculations, as the actual fix can 3 to 5 meters out in good conditions, and 10 to 20 meters out when around buildings and trees. What happens is the GPS periodically gets a fix, calculates linear distance from the last fix, and shows that as your speed. There is often some averaging function going on to smooth out the speed reading, but you can clearly see that the GPS is updating only periodically. Now, imaging you are driving along, reading 80 on your speedometer, but due to variance in everything, you're actually doing only 76. The person behind you has a different variance most likely. If they were reading 80, let's say they're doing 82. Now, in this situation, you may be reading 80 and doing 76, and they are reading 74 and doing 76. From their point of view, you are driving 6 under the speed limit. I'd pass you do. But from your point of view, you think they're driving super fast and speeding.
