I think that when life throws you a curveball and tells you to slow down. Then it’s for a reason. Hollywood is not at all kind to actors with a conscience. Don’t look back at this with regret. The universe wanted you to slow down and appreciate life more than work. Appreciate that you had such opportunities and embrace them. Thank God everyday that you have another day in the sun.

Excellent interview. Val is such a diverse actor, very passionate! He is the present day Lon Chaney, “Man of a Thousand Faces.”

I've seen it several times in my life where there's someone who doesn't like you for some God-forsaken reason and when they become severely or terminally ill, their personality does this complete 180 toward you... Not too many things that can set your priorities straight like facing your own mortality square on.

Every movie he did, I enjoyed. Heat was my all-time favorite. I hate that he was cursed with cancer. He nailed every roll he played.

First movie I saw him in was Real Genius...was a favorite instantly. I'm not huge on Hollywood either, just something about the diversity of roles he played kept me hooked.

As Mr. Kilmer has admitted, he was very difficult to work with for both actors and directors. I am sure this is the reason he was never fully recognized for his superb acting abilities. His performance in Tombstone was surely academy award winning level; as was a few of his other performances.

I pray he turns his life over to Jesus Christ. The world has nothing for us. Jesus is everything. Just call upon HIs name Val. He loves you and has plans for you.

I’ve always been a fan of Val, especially as Jim, but Karma is an absolute bitch. When you treat people like shit your entire career, bad things come back to haunt you.

I think this is the advantage of getting older too (but yes an illness can change you too), you look back and think "Jeezuz what a douchebag I was", after I read Mr. Kilmer was hard to handle on set I thought "Well yeah I mean he is only human, and I feel him, I often have situations where I react like 'Etna'; yes it has it's consequences, but you can learn from it, right? In this interview he is very friendly, I'm sorry he went through a hard moment in his life.

I caught Val Kilmer’s act. He’s a weirdo. A Hollywood nut job who talks like a lunatic because he is a lunatic.

That was big of him to admit he was a primadonna back in his career. He had his own number. I never saw him admit to it until just watching this interview. Very surprising. I wish him the best with his condition.

Wonder why Val is saying help me in the beginning. I don't trust Hollywood or the fake Gov. DeepState Mafia Cabal Whatsoever. So many people taken over by Hollywood doubles and you could see how well he played Jim Morrison not too far-fetched.
