I loved these commercials as a kid. Experiencing the arc where they start as rivals with bad apple always losing, then they get fused together and start entering the bowl together, and finally become friendly rivals who race to get the the bowl first was awesome to kid me. It was my first exposure to the enemies-to-friends trope and I looked forward to seeing who would get to the bowl first.

I must say, the art style and animation looks quite a bit like some popular KZbin webtoons, like asdfmovie, TheOdd1sOut, and Simon's Cat.

Why did they stop using players, fans and cheerleaders in the intros after 2006? It seems like every EA Sports game only did that from 2003-2006

I like that they keep going with the "its in the game" intro but miss that they didn't introduce it with the players after 2005
