Honestly, the game looks amazing. With the exception of character animations and those apparent framerate drops. As for "it seems the whole goal of the game is to make your character feel underpowered", well yeah. It's a survival horror. As a matter of fact, many of the gripes in this review appear to be about tropes that are central to survival horror and traditional Resident Evil. The camera angles, underpowered protagonist, and unforgiving saves/checkpoints. It appears this game is the second part of a trilogy, and the whole trilogy is selling for about $15 right now. I think this review actually helped me decide to go pick it up. Also, am I the only one NOT bothered by his accent? I can understand him perfectly fine.

Hey are you even a Resident evil fan?! This looks great dude!!!!! This I believe is the 2nd version of resident evil 2. Before they made Resident Evil file our brake 1,2, don’t diss a game before you know the history and background man makes me mad. All resident evil fans I think this game looks great bc I miss the old school game play.
