It’s a fun track with the bridge. Tried it out for the first time today. Best I could do is a 19s flat. I was in the first couple sessions of the day so the track was cold. A mid 18s lap could be possible with a warmer track and more consecutive running on a busy night. I’m sure you’d do a low 18s lap by now. I’m quite a bit heavier than you, so I think low 18s are out of the question for me. Would be cool if they had changeable ballasts in the seat to account for weight differences

been visiting k1 speed toronto frequently this year and my best time is 22.191! still can't manage to get into 21 second range. My question is, how often do you have races where everyone on track is not put on full speed for almost the entire race? Has happened on a few occasions when there is races with newcomers, very annoying and I can't improve my time.

If you know the K1 Junior karts, does breaking or leaning to shift weight matter, or is it all about the line? Im always looking for minor adjustments to the line and speed at the San Francisco track, to cut 0.2 seconds for the record. Is there a clear formula for the line, speed and breaking when you look at a picture of a track or do you have to drive it? For the K1 California State Championship, they ran the track in reverse, so there was no practice time. Thanks again for the videos and instruction!
@dawsoncampbell5 ай бұрын
based on the junior karts in Canada. the track is all gas no brakes. so taking the shortest racing line possible is advantageous.
