Maybe if she would have gotten married and had children, she would have been less focused on herself! She had two celebrity parents and probably couldn't deal with all of the lies, deceit, and bull that goes on in that world! I loved Sonny and Cher but they are horrible role models! They made a mockery out of marriage and have no relationship with God who gave them everything! When you worship yourself instead of God, you will be destroyed! The Bible is not a fairy tale, It is the human instruction manual and will always be the #1 best selling book of all time!

Cher loved her husband and wanted to stay with him forever, but unfortunately he cheated on her with other women and robbed her of money, she had to leave because she would die (she had severe depression and suicidal thoughts).

She def doesn't have a singing voice. She took after her pops..haha. So sad what she did to herself. Felt so sorry for Cher. It embarrassed her so much. She told Oprah that not long after it happened but learned to accept it. Now they seem to doing fine as is her and her son now. If anybody can handle it, its Cher

She hated to be like her mother so much that she believed she was a man. Think about growing up with everyone saying your mother was the perfection of beauty and womanhood. She was a tomboy but circumstances and isolation destroyed her internally. She should have run away from home to find herself.

That sounds very true. I remember a story Cher told about Chastity physically blocking the doorway to stop Cher from going out wearing a skimpy outfit that upset her. Cher thought it was funny.

@@shaun2133 I was a band member. my guess is that since we weren't together very long (less than 2 years) and there was limited interest in the band, no one bothered to create a Wikipedia page. we actually had a few more live shows booked, but Chaz suddenly lost interest in the band and that was that. when they were making Becoming Chaz, the production team reached out to us about potentially reuniting and performing in the doc, but they couldn't even sustain enough interest to follow through with that. this was the only pro video we made, but there's a lot of other footage. I'm the only one from those days who saved all of that (that's why we have THIS video). if there's any interest in seeing some stuff, I'd be happy to post it. maybe even a montage with a different song or 2 from the record.

I think this song is really good but the only issue is Chas’ voice is not showcased. There is no power in her vocals which could have been fixed with the right producer.

I had no clue she sounded like her Mom after all these years. What a great voice. Now I bet she doesn't sound anything like that with all those male hormones. What a shame that she felt she needed to change who she was . Sad.
