Once when me, my dad, and his friend were putting tiles on the roof of the shed a machine tool we were using wasn't working so he got out the shovel and buried it. It's still in the backyard to this day.

It is absurd how religious elements of the right wing party want to further restrict freedoms of the average American citizen in their pursuit of making America more in line with their religious views. Religion is best when it is solely between you and God. No one else needs to get involved and be a middle man or messenger. If God wants you, he'll find you. And if you want God, you will find him.

This reminds me of my childhood. My dad was incredible. I tried to be the father to my kids my dad was to me. And the Lord is the one who showed us both a father's love. And now my children have children. And Jesus is still Lord.

In the Christian Standard Bible (CSB), Hebrews 10:26 reads: "For if we deliberately go on sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins." So though nothing can take you from God and nothing you can ever do is too bad if you just choose to live your own way (therefore, reject God) then the grace of God is no longer with you
