I purchased the entire series on DVD. Liked parts of it. Haven't been able to bring myself to watch it again. It was an average show.. nothing overly spectacular. Kind of lost it by the end of the second series.

Loved the show, but I was always bothered that everyone was okay with Frankie being with Mitch and acted as if Teddy was out of line for her behavior.

Cant overstate how this tv show influenced me and my friends. It introduced us to music we may not have found. In fact everyone had the 3 or so soundtrack records on vinyl and cassette for driving. We were a year or so younger than the actors and could identify with them. And the adults including the vietnam vets would watch from doorways they just happened to be passing while the show was on tv

The key to this show's success was that it was patterned after the 60's TV show COMBAT!

Elon Musk stole the idea from the show season 1 episode. The battery design look similar on a Tesla. I am surprise nobody has bought that up

Awesome show! Too bad they had only 3 seasons. Zeke was always my favorite and Terence Knox played him beautifully. Betsy Brantley was some serious talent as the lady psychiatrist.

Such a great ensemble cast , so much great acting. But the most memorable first impression was the sweet John Whitsig, Georgie's husband, who in season 1, was an unemployed wanna-be singer a la Michael buble, who stayed in his bathrobe all day, and played househusband.

The best show portraying an unpopular war and the brave men and women who fought or provided support. The writers, actors and producers were at their best while putting these episodes together. I thoroughly enjoyed each show. The great Carl Weathers recently passed away. May he rest peacefully in God's Kingdom.

I was so into this series when it was broadcast in my country in the early 90s, I tried to volunteer for a LRRP unit... Looking back glad they didn't take me as I still too young for the military!
