The thing I don’t like about van conversions is that you take away the hauling capability. I still want to use it as a van & be able to camp in it. The must have essential for me is having a bathroom. Swivel seats are nice but I would have a toilet behind the drivers seat in a box that you can use it as a counter when your not using the toilet. Also be able to shower between the toilet & sliding door. I like those bag type cabinets where you put stuff in the bags to hang on the walls. I would I woul want single beds that I can move around & be able to make a bigger bed. It would be nice to have an awning & I mostly cook outside.

Building a Skoolie, I have been thinking about getting this heater until I read the data sheets and saw it only goes up to 2,200 meters 7,200ft. Thanks for this. How high of altitude can you get with this reset?

Seems like you're wasting money using both the mats and insulation. What's the thought process on using both?
@basecampcustomvans10963 жыл бұрын
The mats are sound dampeners that reduce vibration in the panels of the walls dramatically. The insulation is a good sound dampener too, but doesn't quiet a Sprinter quite enough for most. But, to each their own. :)
@fedorp47133 жыл бұрын
@@basecampcustomvans1096 Interesting. I used rubberized coating that's designed to sound deaden but insulation provided much more sound deadening than the stock sprinter deadening and the rubberized coating. I see a lot of people on KZbin using those mats and insulation on top of it and it just seems overkill or even wasteful. Thanks.
