Yes I agree FOMO is real and can lead to a spiral of never feeling quite satisfied! There’s only so many ambers/Ouds/vanillas etc etc one needs and can wear. Blind buys don’t make sense for me personally either and part of the enjoyment is going out and smelling new things which inspire, but we don’t always “need” to purchase them like you said. It’s so satisfying to use up what I have and rediscover gems in my collection. I love decants for work and topping up new fragrances throughout the day too. Really interesting what you said about FOMO thanks for sharing your thoughts. I’ll definitely do an update video soon on the topic! 😊

I love it, it’s elegant fresh but with some lovely warmth and aromatic tones. It’s average with performance about 6-7 hours on skin. I would suggest spraying on clothing, but it’s a wonderful scent. I have the biggest size bottle of this beauty!

Oh wow we have such similar taste! I have all those Exclusifs you mentioned with the exception of Bel respiro, which is on my wishlist 😉. I love L’ombre dans l’eau and have a bottle. 😂 Oud cashmere Oud is so beautiful I wish I got a bottle before it was sadly discontinued 🥲. What a travesty! I really liked Ambre Narguille also, and the hermessence line which is so beautiful. Definitely deserves more love. I understand POAL being too much for a warmer climate and Oud satin mood would probably give me a headache, unless there’s a cool fresh breeze in the air. It depends on the fragrance, for bolder highly concentrated scents like Portrait Of A Lady, and Hibiscus Mahajad 2-4 Max, behind ears back of neck and to the chest area. With fresher fragrances like Terre D’Hermes/ Molecule 01 6-10 sprays with added emphasis on clothing. I guess this also depends on how you like to wear your fragrances also. I’ll do a spray routine soon! 😁😁

Haven’t tired the Trussardi but now I need to! I’m such a rose lover to the core! Elegance and beauty are so necessary for the soul. @@I_am_gids Okay, yesterday I went instore, and I sprayed one good spritz of POAL and that was it. The one other time I tested it, I don’t remember how many spritz’s I did, but it was more than one, and it completely overwhelmed me. I didn’t like it then because I sprayed way too much. But one spritz was the perfect amount! I put it on, sniffed the very top notes, and then I ignored it for ten minutes. When I started sniffing my wrist after that, I enjoyed it and then as it continued to dry down, it just got better and better! The incense started coming out, and all the different notes, and it just got more and more elegant. I couldn’t stop sniffing my wrist!😂 I spritzed at about 2pm, and at midnight as I was getting into bed, I could still smell it. So the longevity is excellent. Now I totally understand why so many people rave about that fragrance! It’s exceptional. The key is not to over spray. I over sprayed the other time, and that got in the way of me actually getting to test the fragrance. On my skin, one spray is enough. A neighbour, who I’ve never seen before, got into the lift at the same time as me, and said ‘You smell nice!’ So that was nice too. Thanks to you putting POAL into your 10 Forever video, I have now completely changed my mind about that fragrance. You made me want to re-trial it. 😀It’s an exciting fragrance, as well as being beautiful to smell. It smells luxe, it’s just so well crafted. Anyway, eventually I will get a small bottle of it. Not anytime soon, but I have plenty of fragrances to keep me busy, anyway 😂😂 Gids, changing the subject, have tried Oud Satin Mood by MFK? I’ve sampled that lately, and it’s excellent too. What are your thoughts?

Friend, Exactly POAL shines when applied lightly overdoing it ruins the experience for me personally, I just get a headache. 🌹 Your neighbour has excellent taste! It’s also very unique so all the compliments I’ve gotten have been very interesting. No rush to get it straight away, it’s not going anywhere, a small bottle is perfectly fine. It will last forever with how potent it is. Oud satin mood is a big love, another beast which lasts beautifully and has just the amount of sweetness and depth. I’ll always have a bottle! It was the first MFK I ever tried before I even watched any fragrance reviews many moons ago. I knew it was special…. Love that you go and try the fragrances again and report back, makes my day!😂🤗❤️

If you like woody spicy fragrances, Coromandel is beautiful, it is however sweeter as you said because of the vanilla and white chocolate in the base. Bleu Parfum is fresh woody and energising, so quite a contrast. Almost like Coromandel is more evening special occasion and Bleu is more daytime/casual but still very refined. If you like warm spicy how about Angel share or Musc Ravageur?

No problem at all. I would say best to go for Bleu Parfum, it’s easy to wear fresh with woody warm undertones. The smooth sandalwood in the base makes it delightful and is within that price range. Coromandel is $300+ for the 75ml alone. In the UK it’s around £215. I wouldn’t suggest blind buying as you have to really love patchouli even thought it’s got that sweetness and probably the best selling Les Exclusif. Are you near a boutique? Or can you pick up a sample? Take your time no need to rush. I always encourage fragrance enthusiasts to sample and figure out what you enjoy and works for your style and taste preferences. 🙏🏽😉
