This song will always be one of my most favorite songs. Brilliant. I love the lyrics and the vibe. And this video in my adopted home of Oregon is the icing on the cake. Love love love love.

I found your music about 5-6 years ago when I was in university. I was listening to a lot of Appalachian folk and Americana music at the time. Appalachia had a lot of Irish influence, including traditional Irish and English music in its own make up from my understanding. Americans may think it different because they had grown accustomed to the very "pop" style of country music since the 80s and 90s. Plus a lot of modern American country music has lost the fiddle and banjo -- yet the bluegrass American music stays true to this origin. My favorite songs are Goldmine, Maria, Apocalypso, and My Portion. The music makes me feel quite sentimental, wistful, and bittersweet -- melancholic yet joyous. I'll have to take a listen to the song about the Lesbian woman -- as a gay man in the US myself, I love gay and lesbian themes and love stories. <3

You all have been on my mind for a few weeks now, and was wondering where you were and what you were doing. Then the premiere notice showed up. It's 4 am in the US and I'm here watching.

I love the song, but I'm not so sure about the video. Some sort of connection with the group, or the song, would have made it better, in my opinion.

I love this song after hearing it for the first time today. To those that dislike the content of the video, I believe you might be misunderstanding or attaching a different meaning to the lyrics so it’s jarring to you. If you think of it as a song about an addiction (one arm bandit and the rest of the lyrics) suggest that. And fighting with the sea 🌊 feels the way it feels to battle an addiction. The visuals in the video give an alternate interpretation of the song - any addiction including the addiction you feel to someone you love can make you feel like you are struggling like the guy in the video. 🎰 ❤️🌊 But what do I know?
