Hätte mir nich gedacht, dass sich das wirklich jemand ansieht. Eigentlich lade ich das nur hoch, damit sich andere kurz ansehen können wie die Spiele auf Linux laufen und als Archiv für mich selber, um zu vergleich wie die Spiele mit der Entwicklung auf Linux laufen. Das Rumgefuchtel soll zeigen wie stabile die Frametimes sind. Ich ändere auch manchmal das FPS Limit, um zu sehen wie viel Watt die GPU mit weniger FPS schluckt.

my bad. it is not AFMF. it is Frame Generation. it is kinda the same. FG is in the game, AFMF is a driver thing

as you can see at the end it crashed. on steam some ppl say that they also have troubles with the linux version. there are 2 updates since this video. maybe it works now. havent tried it

It wasn't my controller btw, I had to set the graphics back to Default, for some reason that broke the intro 😅 anyway I even succeeded in modifying the resolution using wine reg, but I have one more question: I bought the game on steam, and whenever I open it, it doesn't show MangoHud (which I have already configured and PoP isn't the first game doing so, some games works with MangoHud other don't). Any idea why? I'm asking cause you surely are more experienced than me in linux gaming, sorry if I bothered you 🙂

How did you make it work? My game crashes every-time I open the map. But that could possibly be due to the Nvidia card that I am using. You are most likely on AMD.

did you use the same proton version? try 6.3. i played it 2 years ago. i havent tried it with proton 7. there are some games, which need older proton versions.

i think it was GE-Proton7-26 and i am using all AMD. rx580, but this game is steam deck verified so it should run with proton 7 OOTB

I rate this game 1 Star of 5. for compactiblity reason and thinkins rating compactiblity with linux must use for all games and magazines who sale games and stole money for no working games. its great. you dont even need wine installed separately. if you have steam with proton it uses proton, or proton-ge if you have it

CPU kann leicht sein, weil meine auch schon 5 jahre alt ist GPU glaube ich weniger. google sagt 2014 war die titan black die beste karte unter 1000€ und laut den benchmarks ist meine besser gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-Titan-Black-vs-AMD-RX-580/3158vs3923

@@nickymlak1189 sure and just in case someone come wondering well: sudo vim /usr/share/x11/xorg.conf.d/10-amdgpu.conf There are 3 lines add these option... Option "DRI" "3" Option "VariableRefresh "true" Reboot and sync is enabled PD: You can use nano instead of vim etc, subbed have a nice day!

@@nickymlak1189 Ist ein Fork aus Mesa HUDs und ein paar Vulkan Libs. Soll aber auch auf NVidia laufen, darum ist es jetzt sein eigenes Projekt und die Mesa Entwickler scheinen da kein großes Interesse dran zu haben das wieder rein zu mergen. Das mit dem Auslesen des Arbeitsspeichers finde ich interessant, sollte man ein Auge drauf behalten, es wird ja regelmäßig aktualisiert.

welchen mesa hud gallium ist für opengl und nutzt is in diesem video dann gibts noch RADV hud. der sieht aber ganz anders aus. den können sie gerne wieder auswerfen und mango einbauen
