Growing up I used to go here all the time. We’d camp even and just wake up. Hop on your bike and ride all day. What got me watching is seeing little kids riding two up on a lil electric bike without helmets and a little tiny guy up front and I just was like “ why does it bother me that they don’t have helmets “ and I remember damn near every other weekend we’d go there we’d see a medical helicopter flying in or pulling someone out with the basket even.
I raced scrambles in the 70s. We didn’t know much about hydration and electrolytes. It was salt tablets and a little water mostly. Point being , by the end of a 3hr race the muscles would cramp up bad sometimes. I ran a 6hr race once, took 6th, but when I got off the bike my legs cramped so bad I went right to the ground! I probably had 3-4 gulps of water the whole day. Hydrate! We know a lot about it now and there’s a ton of drinks and powders available today. I raced MX also, but the scrambles were a lot more fun to me.

Love the videos, but you need to shift a bit more and make the bike work better under you. Again keep the vids coming.

Is there any special procedure to put the slave back in the case? Or does it just pop right in while bolting it down?
@myhobbyvideos3 ай бұрын
There is no special procedure. Nothing really “pops” in. You just bolt it down.

After the holeshot, what was down the right trail that went to the right of the pond? It seemed staighter so I imagine it had to have somthing rough in there.

It has a steep back on it and your closer to the woods but the left path is easier and the right path was harder I didn’t race this race I raced 65 but I watched this race for my dad

I ride at the Plymouth Blackhawk MX club public ride event and I see several busted up trees and event bike parts laying around. I missed a tree only 5-6 inches with my bars but nailed it with my helmet and shoulder pad. Yada Yada my elsinore has a pretty nice dent it the gas tank after I went down.

Yea never understood why in world someone would cut fender on bike like navi or ruckus, like your already not cool, just go with it lol, I Dai drive a ruckus by the way, with the same protruding rear fender, and I honestly think I'd put it on a bike that didn't have one!!
@myhobbyvideos4 ай бұрын
The stock Navi fenders do an excellent job of keeping mud and road grime off everything so I leave them! They work great!

Glad you posted, I have an Action 4 as well. Been thinking of doing a 4k 60fps. Currently been shooting at 4k 30fps. just curios why you use horizon balancing on a dirt bike. Also, What are the rest of your settings. Quality is very good and nice riding.
@myhobbyvideos5 ай бұрын
Here’s a video of RockSteady+. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rGPSaKB6op54q5Isi=P8IDA-J3cCig5RVH HorizonBalance is smoother and makes you look slower (I think) but it’s more enjoyable to watch. How much footage do you get out of your current settings? This here is my max shooting time at 60fps and I thought about dropping to 30fps in hopes I could capture a full race.
@Itsjondillon5 ай бұрын
@@myhobbyvideos I can always get around 1hour 45 min with the settings I have been using. After editing the clips together, removing the random footage before the race starts and i usually only post complete laps in my videos. they usually end up being about 1 hour 30 min of footage. it really depends on how long the course is and how many laps I get in. heres a link. After about 9 races I think I have figured out the settings i want to use. But still thinking of doing a 60fps to see how I like it , I know the quality is a bit better with 60. But i do want to get as much footage as possible. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jGKoeWmPfqZnqructtps://kzbin.info/www/bejne/jGKoeWmPfqZnqrs
