I always thought it originated from Rio but thanks for teaching me, it seems Salvador Bahia has been very impactful on the Brazilian culture by of Samba and Capoeira. Truly creative and inspiring people. ❤

Ifa in Yorubaland embodies religion, science, technology, politics, culture, etc. Those who see it as a religion in Nigeria call it "Isese". Ifa is the Yoruba cultural heritage contribution to the world civilisation. It should be noted that the Yoruba people and culture (before the era of transatlantic slave trade) extended beyond the present day Nigeria. Indigenous Yoruba societies are still in existence in countries like Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana, Gambia, etc and Ifa is still being practiced there.
