yes, you are correct. That is always the best source. Someone that has actually done it. What I have found is that there are multiple definitions of "Squatter". There is no "one size fits all". But to your point, whatever classification of the squatter, first person knowledge is the best source.

They are over exaggerating the problem . Does this happen ? Sure, but not as common as the news wants you to think.

I do agree with you It does happen, but if you do the math on the number of times it happens in relation to how many homes are out there, it is a micro statistic. I think the fascination from the general public when they hear stories like this, about how challenging it is to remove someone from another persons home that is not supposed to be there. That is what makes these cases so eye catching. Even though it is a small statistic of occurrences, the matter should be addressed to reform the property code to make it a little easier for a homeowner to have someone that is illegally occupying their home.

You could really learn something from Governor Ron DeSantis, because he's putting a halt on it in Florida. If you are squatting in someone's house it is considered Grand Theft. And they should be made to pay that money back they should have their wages garnished for that money because they're no less than thieves and the government is allowing them to get away with this. Theft of theft if they're dealing drugs on the street then they're criminals and if their country doesn't do something about this and do it soon by putting these people out immediately like Ron DeSantis you're going to be in a whole lot more trouble this is ridiculous I can't imagine I'm angry for the people that are being saved by these squatters. I hate the government for allowing this to happen there's no excuse

yes, your are correct. Florida has been a leader in this topic. I believe FL was the first in the country to tackle this issue. Georgia followed their lead and reformed the laws as well. Just last week in Texas, I testified in front of a Senate Committee hearing about the topic of Squatters and the need for reform of the property code and creating legal deterrents similar to FL and GA.

Wayne should check back in with the Halls who are suing League City Texas for $25 Million and ask them how many people have contacted them about this Criminal Cartel posing as a Police Department with NO OATHS OF OFFICE ON FILE. Which strips them of their diplomatic immunity. Now THAT would be a GREAT STORY!

I’m so disgusted these two trashy people are from Texas! You’re a reality tv groupie, this was her 4th reality show Erica did. You being so dehydrated for fame you go on these smut shows, play a certain role, to try and make good tv so you can have an opportunity to be discovered. Then want to throw a temper tantrum , when people call you on your sh*t performance ,that you portrayed yourself to be. Not to mention your own damn friends called you out, with receipts, that your cheap and play super rich, when your only subpar with atrocious disgusting behavior . You didn’t pay the full amount, because Bravo, takes care of more than half, it’s like a charter within a charter. Then your mother expected everyone pay for the couch that she ruined all by herself. So was this 48hr gig and a few episodes of fame, worth having the world call you out, for the people you truly are. Now that foolish clown is bringing up safety, yet clearly has no clue what happens on a sailboat, and how it’s operated. Now your getting these running out of gas interviews, with people wanting to know, how you hold one of the worst guest awards. SHES NOT A CELEBRITY, that yoga class would be made up of the 4 of y’all and her mom. Nobody’s paying for a yoga lesson from that squirrelly froot loop. This show must have some slim Pickens of people to interview. How this popped up in my feed I’ll never know, but I’ll make sure it doesn’t again.

This is crazy and sad and terrifying all at the same time. I couldn't of went in there by myself for real. They had a few nice things in there I can't lie. But this is really sad
