First time playing this since release. 1). The AI DID NOT help in anyway. 2). Targeted and killed the bears immediately. 3). Anime girl wiped me and the ai forces out IMMEDIATELY 4). Gina's bombardment is too slow to take out anything before one or more of your limited units are gone. 5). I was playing on easy.

Anyone still playing this game on ultimate badass, get him into the near left corner as you walk into the area with loader in. Once you get him stuck on the ruble just spam RT not sure what it is on pc as I was playing it on the steam deck. Took 2 tries.

game concept is great but the AI vs player game is a horrible experience.... stupid AI more aggressive and more umph than the player units absolute regret purchasing... not interested anymore with WARNO.. wait it out for Broken Arrow.. seems more promising than the dev's who dont know creating a good gamer experience which could have been with a great game concept

Im watching this 12 yrs later. Was looking at playing a smuggler and wanting to see how they performed in pvp! you did really well in this and they definitely look pretty powerful. This edit was great with the intro & great music choice. the newbie areas still got lots of people running around havent got further yet but decent server population

Honestly that was a fun one over all i did 15 mins with that strat but after killing the first base i flipped the war factory to the other side to make the apoc tanks there, i think this one might be my favorite.

The empire guy can make a refinery core to go to the first base you kill x) had to learn that the hard way.

that took me longer to finish than i thought, i was attacking the wrong way so the computer destroyed more tanks than i would have wanted. But i managed to get a 4:50 so not bad

Sorry but even if this is now 11 years old I can't take it silently how someone with this kind of skillset can think of talking bs about this milestone in video game history! You are skipping the tutorial - too lazy to read - and mocking graphics that were state of the art when it was released. Doesn't look like you got the tinyest experience to rate games. Maybe you should take your time in the future and get the basics straight... just don't pretend to be the ultimate judge in videogames when you are not even able to do monkey tasks that I could perfectly handle when I was 12 years old back in the time. He had to restart a million times cuz everytime I do his strategy red pumps out a bullfrog as soon as I arrive I kill the barrel and flak trooper and I manage to get war factory and kill the 3 bullfrog that came out but everytime I'm about to make red useless blue sends over allied air take down I can't remember there name and he wipes me and I lose cuz he is also cracked with units and if I do orange then blue red sends so many bikes like I'm talking 30 with at least 6 bullfrog protecting them

You must've gotten lucky cuz I did what you did 4 times and the big tank got there hq from orange to run but couldn't kill it by time they all died

That is very much NOT how it goes for me. The enemy fires a surprisingly accurate artillery strike like Katyusha rockets on Berlin before the tank assault begins and steam rolls my positions. My helicopters cannot even get near them because if I so much as approach them slightly the enemy AA has them in their sights and finally my artillery has nowhere near as much fire power as them and even if it did, it is quite inaccurate. (I did win...but it took MUCH back and forth to avoid artillery fire, abandoning taking 1 of the 2 bonus objectives and near the end losing those troops I had at the other bonus objective.) This wasn't the Warsaw Pact experience which is the very reason I chose to play the game, and it compelled me to move on to Airland battle. Hopefully I will have better luck leading a proper Soviet assault against NATO instead of random near impossible missions.

The original X was great. This is only an extension, therefore can't be terrible.

You should play the tutorial first. Also games back then were not forcing you to follow introduction missions. Maybe it is also because X-Tension is additional content to the game X Beyond the frontier. You can just get right into the game, if you already played X Beyond the frontier.

This guy fucked up this tutorial so badly.

ROFL you should learn how to play the game first before making a video judging it. For one, you were not even going a quarter of your max speed, and two, there is a device on your ship that you can activate that increases the speed of time to make traveling long distances less dreadful. So clearly, that is why it seemed like you were going really slow. I recommend playing x-beyond the frontier (BTF) before playing x-tension. The reason being, BTF is similar to tension and it puts you through a flying tutorial when you start the game. In contrast, X-tension assumes you are already a veteran player and is, therefore, not friendly to players new to the x series.
