Exactly the system that i'm looking at for my 2019 Tracer. I know i'm asking a question on a 3 year old video, but is/was the drone bothersome on the highway with the 300mm can? was fitment an issue at all? From the video it sounds perfect with the baffle in, just a TAD louder
@chrisb_rc2 жыл бұрын
No problem I'm still around :) No not really, I wear moulded in-ear plugs anyway and it's just right imo. Had to do a bit of a wiggle around the centrestand to get the stock system out, but other than that it was a doddle to fit.

Is the Mra screen an improvement over the standard? Also was that Black Head?
@chrisb_rc4 жыл бұрын
Yes and also no. The front end is just soo badly designed it's inherently windy regardless of screen. The difference it made wouldn't be 30 or 40% better, but maybe 3 or 4%, I've actually went back to the stock screen at the same time as going back to an older helmet. Yet to find a combination that works :(

@@D.P.9 The stock ecu and loom don't support the ability to interrupt the Throttle Position Sensor signal unfortunately, hence the aftermarket MCCruise - it's a standalone ECU that piggy backs in 3 places, It takes a tach reading off a spark plug, is spliced into the Speed Sensor right at the Yamaha ECU connector and you replace the OEM Throttle Position Sensor plug.
