What kind of suspension are you running and how much lower is that than stock? Do you have any engine modifications? I have one as well and want to set it up for the track

At the time I had a TC Kline suspension, now I have the JRZ RS Pros. The TC Kline setup was pretty amazing, absolutely great value. I'm not sure of the exact ride height, but the car was corner balanced and had the rake that TC Kline recommended. The motor was stock at the time, with the exception of an after market air filter and pulleys I think. This was 7 years ago so, that's as much as I remember from that setup...

BMW handling is suoreme and the pilot was good I think the civic turbo seems more fast on straighs but the M3 handling and the pilot control was capable to win to the civic. I think was what i see on this vídeo.

Thanks for your comment. It took a lot of work not to have it overheat, and eventually I got tired of watching my temp and oil gauges all the time. The car is now back to being N/A. I'll know this week how much I'm going to miss the extra power. ;)

Damn, I was hoping you were the one that figured it out. Yeah, that's why I never put money into a SC. I was passing by all the SC cars on the track since they were experiencing heat issues. Even GTR's can only really get a few good laps down here before they start to cook.

I was pretty close though, and had a lot a track time that was trouble-free. I never had a problem at the big tracks like MOSPORT, but we have one small track that was always problematic. I couldn't hang close to 8,000 rpm like I do when I'm N/A either, I would shift early to avoid prolonged high-RPMs. The times were quick though, so I'd say it did the job with a bit more hassle. ;)

@@DMRMOTORSPORT It might have, yes...but that was 6 years ago. lol :) The supercharger has since been removed, and recently I got back to my original lap time without the supercharger, the wing, or the splitter on the car. Seems like improvements somewhere between the driver's seat and the steering wheel were warranted. ;)

I couldn't be happier with my 4.10. The noise is unbearable on drives to tracks that are 3-6 hours away, but it's worth it!

Yeah, when I used to run a 4 cyl turbo all you would hear was wind and the blow off valve. Rear camera really is the best for sound and to help tell the other half of the story if you're being followed closely or pushed from behind. Well worth the investment and the original GoPro 1 does the job just fine, so it makes justifying buying a GoPro Hero2 for the front much easier. ;)

thanks, cause if I mount it on the front lip, we hear only the supercharger,, on the side unusable, in cabin windows down, wind, and at the back, great sound but nothing so interesting!

This time I tried four cameras: front, rear, cabin and wing. The sound comes exclusively from the rear camera. Cabin is cool because it sounds like a cup car because of the diff, but rear still sounds best. The aerodynamics allow the camera to film without wind noise.

pretty nice montage, did you used only the cockpit go pro's microphone or did you put an external mic at the back cause the sound is clear, without wind sound?
