Brother XR9550 or Bernette b05 Academy?

Both machines are Swiss designed, only *some* Berninas are Swiss made.

This machine came out a little while ago but it is one I’d recommend for a beginner sewer over the boxstore plastic models or the ‘heavy duty’ singers… it came with a lot of great accessories and I’d have bought one if I didn’t have enuf vintage/retro machines … but I liked it!

This video would have been really useful if you had defined the care symbols instead of telling us to "look them up."

Thanks for the tutorial. Can you do a presentation on presser feet for the Bernina? What would you recommend using for stitching lettering?
