I just had test done an mri of my low back. An was alittle shocked. When I was younger I had an aneurysm in my right abdominal illac artery it couldn't be fixed in 1986 so they cut out the aneurysm an just tied off the artery. But my recent mri done on my back dew too low back pain I got a few bad disc an a nerve pinched it showed where I had the aneurysm removed but my medical records didn't state I was missing my IVC below my renal veins an very large free flowing veins in my low back. I haven't had any problems with blood clotes but have trouble walking an my legs go numb an veins are always sore in legs the longer I stand up the more my veins buldgeout on my legs really bad. Is there any health risky for me being born without the IVC below the renal veins. ?

This was great - well done. I remember in the early weeks of clinical when we went to the ED to do a mobile exam on a "right foot" - however, it was indeed the "left foot" that needed the exam. In addition to patient identifiers, always ask the patient to confirm or deny "which foot" needs the exam.

Thank you for your kindness! I really enjoyed speaking with you, thank you for taking your time and energy and explaining my mothers procedure. God Bless in The name of Jesus Christ. Amazing things can be accomplished when a $1 million camera is under Cruise control Thank you again Professor

What controls the number of pixels in frequency direction?
@JCruiseII
@JCruiseII 2 жыл бұрын
The matrix is the number of pixels. If you have a 256x256 matrix, you have 256 pixels in both directions.

Please explain to me First pixel in the far left experience 1.5 Tesla Plus a .01 Tesla so it experienced as example a 65mhz and next pixel closer to iso is 64mhz does that mean pixel 2 has ranges of frequencies from 64mhz until 64.999mhz ? And if additional .1hz can make the signal be registered to the neighboring pixel please could u explain to me im struggling

There are several things you are combining here. You are talking about bandwidth, matrix size and magnet strength. You first have to separate them out, so you don't get confused. Pixels will have a number of frequencies within each one based on your bandwidth. I can elaborate, if needed.

Sir which book is it?

There are many ECG books out there. The system to read the tracing is the same regardless of which book you are using.

I just use the Elite HRV app with my Polar H10. It records the RR interval and calculates the mean and moda of the RR interval. It also calculates the SDRR and the RMSSD from which the HRV is derived. You can also download the RR interval raw data for additional analysis.

Yes, there are many good apps out there. This is for practicing manual trace reading for the beginner.

Still doesn’t explain adequately what phase and frequency actually are.
@JCruiseII
@JCruiseII 2 жыл бұрын
This is specifically explaining the matrix, not the phase and frequency. It is assuming the viewer has some basic knowledge of MRI. This is part of a complete series that is visible to my students in an official program.

This is the key-point: 6:37. Besides frequency and phase there is an amplitude too. In the middle of k-space it is brightest.
@JCruiseII
@JCruiseII 2 жыл бұрын
@@jacobvandijk6525 Yes, the center of K-space is contrast while the outer sections is resolution. I use C for center and contrast, so the outer limits is resolution.

Lao caudal is the spider view. I think there’s some mistake
@JCruiseII
@JCruiseII 3 жыл бұрын
The "Spider view" is a nickname. I've worked with physicians that use both terms. I went with the official view instead of the alias. All views are named with the same convention and some have alternate names, like this one.

@14:00 I stated "brackets" instead of "parentheses." Please note the correct term is parentheses. I didn't want to redo the whole presentation because of one misspoken word. Thanks!
