Always go with a Union representative. Unite the union are the best and they can help you a lot in this hiring disciplinary. They know a lot about the law and they know your right and so they can defend you and actually put the company in silent, btw never trust HR, managers that work in the company, do not thing they are there to help you, they will always trying to talk to you in a nice way and ask you a lot of question to fishing for information, be really careful to do not increamenate yourself that why the best advise if to go in any kind of meeting accompanied with one Union representative, I done it and they had helped me a lot. Please don’t trust the company hr or managers that will be in this meetings cause they are employed by the company so they will only care about the company and not of you.

It's not a statutory right to be accompanied at an investigation meeting and your employer can require you to attend alone without notice. Having a union representative present at a disciplinary hearing doesn't worry HR as they know the limitations of their role what a union can and can't do. They are there as a witness and cannot answer questions on behalf of the defendant or do anything to prevent the manager from conducting the hearing.

I’m hard of hearing and the first thing I tell people is please don’t raise your voice, it actually distorts your speech..next please speak just a little slower( if they were speaking fast) and enunciate your words and please looking directly at me if you can as I also am looking at your lips.

Good advice but worth remembering that people will look twice & that is just a survival instinct inherited in our genes. Also, being rude when offered help does alienate people. I once offered help to someone who couldn't reach across a wide shelf. Her reply was so positive but she did comment that no-one had ever offered to help her before.

You can't banned 🚫 us disabled in your cities. You caused my family friends to move out of Dakota county West St. Paul city, and South St.Paul city both very disgusting pieces of shit holes. Neurodiversity should be considered gifted in some ways. I hate to hear people talk about this as a disability. Many extremely bright and creative people are neurodivergent. Like other things, we need to learn how to harness and utilize the gift.❤

Certainly! Here is a detailed guide for HR personnel to deal with neurodiverse job applications of disabled job applicants who have requested reasonable adjustments on their CV when applying for a role: Introduction Neurodiversity is a term used to describe the natural variation in human brains. It includes conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia. Neurodiverse individuals can bring unique perspectives and skills to the workplace. However, they may face challenges during the recruitment process, such as difficulty with interviews, application forms, and assessments. This guide aims to provide HR personnel with practical advice on how to support neurodiverse job applicants who have requested reasonable adjustments on their CV when applying for a role. Legal Obligations Under the Equality Act 2010, employers have a legal obligation to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that disabled job applicants are not disadvantaged during the recruitment process. This includes making adjustments to application forms, assessments, and interviews. Reasonable adjustments can include providing additional time, using alternative formats, or changing the location or timing of interviews. Employers should discuss reasonable adjustments with the job applicant and agree on the most appropriate ones. Application Adjustments Neurodiverse job applicants may require reasonable adjustments during the application process. For example, they may require additional time to complete the application form, or they may require the form to be presented in a different format. Employers should discuss these requirements with the job applicant and agree on the most appropriate adjustments. Employers should also ensure that the application form is accessible and easy to understand. We offer different ways to apply, such as filling out an online form, sending an email, or mailing a paper application. If you need more time to apply, you can ask for a later deadline. Make sure online application forms work with screen readers, and if you have trouble, we can help you. We explain jobs in simple words so everyone can understand. Pre-Screening Neurodiverse job applicants may require reasonable adjustments during pre-screening. For example, they may require a different venue for the interview or an alternative assessment format. Employers should discuss these requirements with the job applicant and agree on the most appropriate adjustments. We offer flexible interview scheduling, so if the interview time doesn’t work, you can ask for a different time that suits you. Let us know if you need a quiet place for interviews, and we’ll find one. If you prefer showing your skills rather than talking, we can arrange for that. Interviews Neurodiverse job applicants may require reasonable adjustments during interviews. For example, they may require additional time, a different format for the interview, or a support person. Employers should discuss these requirements with the job applicant and agree on the most appropriate adjustments. We can give you questions before the interview so you can get ready. Our interviews have clear questions that everyone gets. You can answer questions in writing, talking, or using drawings - whatever works for you. If you need more time to think, just let us know, and we’ll make sure you get it. If you need breaks during interviews, that’s no problem at all. You’re welcome to bring someone you trust to the interview. Assessment Tasks Some employers use assessments as part of the recruitment process. These assessments may include psychometric tests, situational judgment tests, or other types of tests. Neurodiverse job applicants may require reasonable adjustments to these assessments. For example, they may require additional time or a different format for the assessment. Employers should discuss these requirements with the job applicant and agree on the most appropriate adjustments. We make tests that fit your skills, not the other way around. If you prefer to show what you can do practically, we can arrange that. Feedback After the interview, we’ll tell you what you did well and how you can do even better next time. We’ll explain your job and any help you might need in plain words. Conclusion Supporting neurodiverse job applicants who have requested reasonable adjustments on their CV when applying for a role is essential to ensure that they are not disadvantaged during the recruitment process. Employers have a legal obligation to make reasonable adjustments, and they should discuss these adjustments with the job applicant and agree on the most appropriate ones. By taking these steps, employers can attract and retain neurodiverse talent and create a more diverse and inclusive workplace.

Age discrimination sucks but you cannot control your own age, and despite of laws protecting older workers, employers still discriminate. They inject there own biases into there decision and you have to ask yourself do you really want to work for someone like that.

About WHITE PRIVILEDGE: FOM AN FRICAN FRIEND OF MINE - There is one thing that astonishes me!!! Although a segment of people « benefit » from it because they get higher salary, may be slightly better treatement and are barely discriminated, it is wise to say that many of those « priviledged » are left behind, frustrated and under -accomplished! Many people of colours have accomplished MUCH MUCH more than many white counterparts for example and I have a friend (from Africa) whom I met in France who has 2 masters degrees, speaks 4 european languages fluently and who has achieved way more than many «whites » like me (I am French). Another that this african guy told me is that despite having MANY advantages, many europeans are still depressed, unhappy (emotionally and even sexually) and lonely. I think I agree with him. He also told me once that he does not fear to have to come back to Africa one day because he has a home there (an average size house, he showed me some pictures of it and it was beautiful but simple) with a garden with many types of fruits and veggies. He even has some chickens!!!! He told me that NOTHING in europe or America could make him more happy yhan coming back in his home country where he could enjoy cheaper cost of living, avoid « white » loneliness and depression, « white drugs while eating foods without additives and hormones. here he is right as well!

Spot on. Women punish other women for aging. I also say that job interviews are like dating. I got multiple corporate/agency job offers up to my late 30s. HR hire for youth/beauty, not talent. The tone of the job interviews is completely different after 40. You are treated with contempt and condescension.
