Climate Change is not in the top 10 most important challenges in Nigeria. We dont have tractors, good security, land clearing costs, access roads to farms etc. Lets not repeat western talking points.

The effect of climate change on agriculture and life in general is high, but we are not helpless, there are things and practices that can be adopted to manage the situation. Like Akin said, knowledge is very important, but who is informing our small holder farmers in rural areas about this? It is not just the duty of the govt alone, all hands must be on deck to solve find solutions that are not too complex to implement.

Climate change risks are increasing. We need to do something to stop these problems from eroding food systems in Nigeria.

Young people are key to driving this country's agricultural sector. However, the main issue is that young people in their early 20s rarely have the opportunities until much later in their lives (late 20s and early 30s).

I wish more Nigerian farmers will see this video and understand the business part of farming. We shouldn't be depending on seasonal farming in this age.
