Awesome video! Huge Carlin fan here. Did some research - Johnny mentions Sunrise FL Nov 15/16 - that would have been 1980 - which probably makes this air date October 30, 1980 - with George Carlin, Joe Garagiola

@Taylor Faulkner ; Yeah, they do. Carlin lost a chunk of his audience when he moved from comedy to over the top counter-culture hate speech. Of course, he picked up a lot of new followers who grew up to be ANTIFA terrorists and sympathizers.

His hair was a little longer in his second HBO special and that was 1978. His 3rd special was 1982 and he had the short comb over style. I saw another clip of him from 1979 and he still had longer hair. So this is either 80-81'.
