Best rendition out there. Your Music Director is masterful.

I've had a lot of powerful moments as a Tenor I. But I'm not sure any of them have ever been quite as powerful as singing rhe middle section of this piece and scaling up to the moment at 4:30. When I sang that note, amid the rest of my choir, on a tour across the sea? I think it was the single most powerful note I ever sung.

I will listen to it soon! I sang Nyon Nyon for a state honor choir, haven't looked too much further into your work, but i will now. Thank you for your composing ability! Best of luck with the Grammy!

We sand this for a choir concert a year ago. I found myself in the worst pit I've ever been in and this was the first place I came. This song makes me think of those who didn't choose to stay and how their family and friends are affected by it. Beautiful piece.

I get why this one ended on a dissonant tone, fits the theme of the song and the theme of the performance, but I really want it to resolve to a major chord

Learning this was the most thrilling experience of my musical career. The adrenaline rush you get when you first hear this come together after weeks of practicing parts is like a thunderclap... WOW

You can tell this choir put their hearts & souls into this song. You can tell this song has meaning to them. They sing it with so much compassion and sympathy it breaks my heart. I get chills every time that I listen to it.

So ironic in a sad way that I get to sing this song in All East Choir this year, never hearing it until now, when I've had suicidal ideations for a long time now. I hope that I'm not battling tears while I'm on stage in a month, but I know that'll probably be really hard not to. I've always had a hard time not crying when I sing a piece of music that has really connected to me or has had any bit of significance towards me, and I adore that music can do this.

I’m performing this piece with my university choir this year and this is my last semester before I graduate in December and man I just know I’m going to start bawling on stage because this song is just so beautiful and evokes those emotions that everyone can connect to 🥹🩵
