Bionicle to me was half of my childhood, my way to escape reality into a fun fantasy world and play. Im now much older and have a stable income and decided to collect bionicles again, despite many thinking its a waste of money. Tummorow im going to order Karzahni even though its really expensive, i think its the second most expensive set right behind titan mata nui.

I always thought it was kind of lame that the "enemies" after 2001 usually adopted the same set and colors as the "heroes". Just a boring choice. Rahi to me were cooler because they weren't bound to some restriction like that, and weren't entirely clones of each other in different colors. (although they did have color variants) Bohrok-kal and moreover the toa nuva were kind of dumb being minor modifications to existing sets

pulled my Onua out today and looking for information. Mine came in a plastic can with a copper-colored mask attached on the outside lid (still black mask inside the can). the can is open, but all parts are accounted for and like new. I also have a rolled poster with a bunch of different models (includes Onue) that came separate.

phoenix just has another vibe to it, with every other b daman on the table it just looks like a toy sitting there, but with phoenix its closer to it just standing there, manecingly. also i think canon drive garuburn has more potential, when i use it on full force, its takes me like 8 secends to just be able to get the shot out (probably why i broke two pair like that, and its really hard to get those arms these days)

Pohatu is probably the most playable set out of all the Toa Mata, if you only have the arm swinging ones without the rest of the Toa you kind of swing at nothing or other random unrelated figures, but if you only have Pohatu rather than the full Toa Mata team or have him as your first Toa Mata before you get the others, you can pretty much kick anything which I found very fun when I got him
