Horse were not designed to jump over heights like this. It is pure equestrian abuse, alongside horseracing and national hunt. Humanity is shameful.

I wonder how badly she mistreated this horse, like she has publicly advocated doing, at a recent clinic in Wellie. The Firestones knew exactly what she was up to; Adam is proof that the apple doesn’t fall far.

I can remember watching this on tv at the time. I may be wrong but Lesley was only 19 years old at this time. Used to live in the next town from me really admired her ability, would have liked to of seen her compete for longer.

1960s Those painful memories of desperately longing to have my own pony, only to be told by my parents that we could not afford one, and only posh people have ponies. Gave me a huge complex when I finally at 13 went riding, and had an inferiority complex mixing with posh kids, whom I assumed must look down on me. Mothers damage kids with the crap they talk.

They have to occupy their time with other animal torture when they are not out chasing foxes with hounds. Seriously who taught it was a good idea to force any horse to jump that high? Might as well force horses to climb trees at that point. And yes, the horses are starven and beaten to coax them to jump dangerous heights.
