It's the new mechanic called Chronon card. The one I have equipped helps break quintet elemental shield. To use it, you have to charge it 4 times by dissolving it. Then you have to use it and pull it to the character you want to break quintet shield one round before you want to break the shield. Then in order to activate the trigger skill you have to dissolve the character's character rune. It's a complicated mechanic.... -___-

The light card is called "Harmonic of Purification - Feiyin" she is only there to get rid of cracked runes on R4. If you have another card that can do that (or give you enough damage and combos for that enemy, then she can be replaced)

I think he is a good leader to come back to. After PR he'll be pretty strong and can help carry you through many stages. His past teams will work (Novalis/Ursula) but you might need other utility cards given the new enemy skills in stages nowadays. There's also a dark dragon black gold card coming up soon too. If you have teammates for Azathoth, I want to say that you'll probably also have teammates for the new card? But I'm less sure about that

He absorbs the charge of your craft to reduce the damage taken. Fully charged craft = 100%damage reduction. Which means that you have to use your craft on his 1st HP bar

Honestly Napoleon right now has one of the highest damage output in the game right now. He is able to hit for 1T damage regularly which is kinda disgusting haha. Second place would be Una/Nulla teams, and Gojou teams third.

Yeah, sticky isn't that much of an issue with fixed boards but the situation that made me put that as a con was Sticky + number shield. AS1 doesn't help bc single dissolve, AS2 can help a bit with an easy 12 rune but can still be hard, and the character rune fixed board isn't helpful unless you planned for it the round before haha. I think he would've been too OP with a shield even if we took the damage reduction away. Mostly because there's a lot of shield refreshing skills now and shields are way better than any tumbler or damage reduction. Part of me thinks that the past 2 BG card had shields so they wanted to switch things up a bit? idk lol

He has the following skills: For every additional type of runestone dissolved after the first one he gets 50% damage reduction. Meaning that if you dissolve 2 types, he has 50% damage reduction, and 3+ types he gets 100% damage reduction. The squares on the board: only characters that use character runes that end in that square can launch attacks. The normal way to deal with it is to stack runes or create a lot of 1 type. Nanami (the light card) has a skill that ignores this type of damage reduction which is why I use him.

As a leader he seems to be pretty good for a f2p card. Of course, he's not going to reach BG or jackpot status but he's usable. That being said, he's going to fall off in terms of power in a couple months. As a member he's pretty decent specially for a demon team or for a Nulla team. There's no downside to levelling one copy up with Harpies. The second one is less necessary, but it's worth having in your inventory just in case

The mode doesn't matter, they all have the same effects. You should choose the type you play the most. I will say though, I recommend getting some reflection ones (maybe 2) since that's the most useful type to filter runes for some teams.

@@felinegatotos My favourite is Destruction as it "feels" like it's the easiest, although I don't know how effective my effort is. It's the only one which I don't feel like I've messed up when it's done. I love playing with Slashing (but I'm REALLY bad at it - in theory it's not that hard, but in practice....), Mirror and Shadowfall but there's always that sinking feeling that you've messed up somewhere. I almost never play Reflection, but I think I should try then!

I actually think black and white is kind of annoying haha. It took so long to get used to and even now it still takes me longer to spin when it's active. Light card is only there to have a light card so any light card will do. As for the water card, she reduces your recovery to 0 which is a way to avoid the boss skill that poisons dark runes.

@@felinegatotos The trouble with black and white for me is not just that it's harder to work out the tile you're spinning, but I lose my peripheral vision 100%. If I were trying to, say, make 2 crosses, I can make the first one (slowly), but I have no chance of knowing what the other tiles outside are until I start looking at them, whereas with colour I will at least notice that, say, the green tiles are split on either side of the board and I need to sort them out and push them all to the same side before making the red cross. With black/white it's really just step by step, which is death when you only have a few seconds to do it! I'll try and see if I have another card which reduces recovery to 0.... EDIT: - Oh, that's Cassandra!! I have her, just not at 7*. No wonder she looks different!

Done! It's currently uploading. TL:DR if you can make it all the way to Mahito. Use Cassandra to nullify the dark rune poison. Then use domain expansion on the second HP bar for easy clear.

I know right? Super tailored stages are one of the things I'm not looking forward to. But for now, it seems like there's some leeway thanks to Una, Nulla, and Atum. (Let's wait until the nightmare stage and watch me eat my own words)
