We still get localizers screwing up the anime dubs and subs anyway in the US as if 4kids wasn't bad enough. Just look at what they did to a scene of ranma1/2 removed diologe and replaced it with not only a mistranslation but added something ranma would never say ultimately disrespecting the source material and destroying his character as a whole localizers have got to go.

A few weeks ago I got volume 18 from the public libary in my town and in one of the pages It shows android 16's head being crushed by cell's foot, (i thought it was disgusting) and then I saw my friend get the same volume but from our school library and the same pages were diffrent, the school one showed cells foot right above 16's head and then it cuts to gohan

First of all video is A.I. Second of all, for anime series it is dragon ball after that dragon ball z and etc. So no, series has a letter Z, it's not just a western thing, unless you are talking about manga, in that case you are correct.

You do realize what the age of consent was in Japan back then right? it may not be right in other places, but that's precisely why the censors exist, it may not be ethical elsewhere but she's also fictional, if Dragon Ball wasn't anime or manga but a live action TV show I doubt she'd be portrayed like that, she was topless in the manga, but the anime was censored in the end anime isn't necessarily meant for young kids at least not all of it, a mature adult would understand that the country of origin has the most influence of any show. I mean you're complaining in the comments of a video that is about the exact subject your complaining about. In the end YOU clicked on the video.

I feel, when it comes to anime, I like that people have a different way of thinking about an story, and showing us what a animated series, along with comics, showing us that cartoons don't have to be just for children, and silly, childish adults. Anime has shown me, cartoons don't have to goofy to be entertaining, it doesn't have to be educational for children, you can just tell a story, about anything, anything at all. Also, all of that aside, I feel big American executives, don't care about cartoons, they just want to make money, and that's about it. Just like any executive, American or not, they want a squeaky clean image about themselves. However, that isn't always the case.

To be honest, I don't mind censorship, just as long that it is not that noticeable, and it usually is. I'm not against, nor even for, censorship. The only thing that I don't like when it comes to censorship, censoring things that don't matter. I feel, big American executives, basically just want a cartoon that stick figures, and to have a story, and dialogue, that's pleasing to toddlers. I feel, that's how big executives, basically, more or less, seses the audience. Figuratively, us as adults, we are toddlers, and adolescent children, but the thing is, we shouldn't be treated like children. In spite of most adults watch cartoons, dress like teenagers, buy toys and video games, along with acting like children. Outside of that, we don't want to be treated like children.
