Consider : 1)the infill for pets odors 2) UV protection - tinting windows to prevent burn 3) treat your yard don’t cheat . Cheap becomes expensive maintenance over time

I don’t have gutters and the side yard has an ugly groove and I been trying to have real grass survive but the heavy rains would kill them. All I want is to patch the grooved area. I might want to replace the grassy knoll area along the side of the sidewalk. But most brands have a stiff minimum bulk order of 450 sq ft. I also want the most realistic grass with some slight imperfections.

I live in a rural neighborhood in central Texas and my yard is occaicionslly dug up by armadillos and raccoons so I'm betting this won't work.

the turf is laid over 2 to 4 inches of compacted rock base... Animals digging is a big misconception. Animals do not relate turf to grass, it would be more like a plastic deck... Yes an animal might mess with it, but its not common... I would be like a dog digging on a dirt road.

Are they all pet friendly? I love the look of putting green turf, but is that the right turf for my pug? It's just one dog and I want him to have his own little area in our yard for him. The rest of my backyard is all cement. Thank you.

That’s what I would want is the most realistic looking Turf that has ever made. There’s a lot of companies out there and if you buy it and have it delivered it’s not cheap and what if you do not like it I don’t think you can send it back.

Was thinking of posting a video but just finished a 6’ x 3’ patch next to the 3rd stall driveway where I park my truck. I went to the country dump and helped myself to the rock piles of all sizes. Had filled 3 buckets of sands and fine rock from the winter snow plows (where it collects on the street) last spring. As for how much rock/fill, I dug out about 3-4 inches of dirt, set repurposed pavers down with big rocks following the slope, then topped with the fine. Looking to add on to the sidewalk next but had done a little patch next to the mailbox last year that’s holding up nicely. It’s amazing what the county throws away but you can usually find old rock piles near railways and road crossings if you look in the woods. 😅

lol well clearly you care more about looks than functionality. They don't have to mow, it drains water properly. They can park on top of it (the houses are close together and their driveways are short, so not a lot of parking room) without the grass dying and turning into mud. I think it looks great and serves its intended purpose!

Cool. 👍 Only thing I'd change is use Wago connectors instead of wire nuts, just to keep the wires intact if I change my mind for some reason. 😁
