This is surprisingly insightful of Vivienne, who otherwise can be pretty narrow minded with her ideas of control and loyalty to the organisation of a Circle of Magi. Playing Veilguard, I found myself thinking exactly what she says here about Elvhen civilisation.

Vivienne is one of the best characters but genuinely gets a poor wrap because people are really surface and superficial with her. She’s complex and insanely interesting.

If you need to do that to form your opinion perhaps you shouldn’t be explaining to other people how they should be forming theirs. Just a thought. I've tried two different brand of batteries and they don't work! So I'll have to go to the store tomorrow to try another pair of batteries. The instructions say not to use rechargeable batteries. Maybe that's where I'm going wrong.

Not to mention Cole didn't see all there is to Solas like he did for others since Solas blocked some of the parts he didn't want Cole to see as you can see in one of their banters "Where did it go?!" "I'm sorry Cole, but that's not a hurt you can heal"

@@Underground_Valentine There's literally another situation when Cole says, "Because you never asked." It's implied that he knew after a while, but considering that answer during a completely different situation. It's safe to say Cole probably wouldn't have said anything unless any of us asked a question about Fen' harel in general. Also with ookami's comment. Solas didn't seem to mind Cole knowing who he was. I mean Solas wasn't actively trying to hide his lineage, he just never said anything further. Even the writer's say that Solas is ironically bad at lying despite being known as the trickster god. He said that Solas' way of lying was just not telling the entire truth. No twisting, no blatant lies, just subtle omission of details.

I don't know about the thing with Blackwall, but I learned recently while going down a rabbit hole on the DA wiki that apparently Solas did something to Cole to make it so he COULDN'T tell anyone, like some kind of spell or something

Thats one thing about viviene that makes me actually not hate her OI'm not fond of her And I disagree on most of that she believes, But I can see some sense in it, I can undertand WHY she sees the world like this. And i Can see clearly, from dialogues like this, and others, that she gennuinelly care for the wellness of other people aind society in a whole, In her way. It's diferent from solas, that is drown in hippocrisy, and sera who only cares about the things that she wants to care. For me, she is way better than both of them
