Because Buffalo hardly ever go down easy and it could have killed them both in an instant. Cape buffalo kill more hunters than any other animal on the planet. They did the smart and safe thing while also allowing the hunter to make the first shot

Safaris don't get better than that! Eland, Kudu, Nyala, Buffalo, Sable, Roan, Springbok, Hartebeest, Impala. Gemsbuck. Wow... terrific hunt.

@@johncrosser8783 we’ve seen great performances from the Bergers at all ranges. Some years ago there were a few batches that weren’t behaving like a Berger is supposed to and zipping through, but we have not seen that for 2-3 years now. We love the Bergers from our experience. Looking at 2026 - We would be privileged to host you on safari! Do reach out sooner rather than later as dates are starting to move fast for 2026.

As always a great video with good scenery and wildlife. Often in your videos, the PH is taking photos of game taken. Are they schooled in camera use and photo set up?
