The streets in Hong Kong are great. I have very little usable vision and I love crossing the roads in Hong Kong with the sound that lets you know when you can cross. I can cross roads just as well without it, since I just listen for which direction the cars are moving. My mobility instructor in the US did a very good job of teaching us how to get around independently from a young age. Something I wish more places would do. Independence is a very big part of being able to have confidence and be successful even when you can't see.

Monkey D.Luffy Hey Monkey, I wasn't trying to be rude, not all all....just trying to make you chuckle, to make light of my situation. I can see some of my big iMac's screen, but there are always some things I cannot see regardless. I try to to my best though! I hope I didn't offend you with my joking????

My husband is visually impaired as well. I think it is very important to show that like this gentleman, the visually impaired are still VERY capable and can still make a valuable contribution, such as his delivering meals. I thought this video was also important for showing the obstacles faced by the visually impaired and the dependence upon other senses for interpreting the surrounding environment. Please remember that visual impairment is "not catching", if you see someone in a potentially dangerous situation as shown with the barriers and noisy area, please offer assistance, and remember that the person is just as intelligent as you or me, they just need a little help at times. Thank you for the video and the important message.
