Can you provide a parts list and sources? I thought the vk56de had a forged crank from the factory. The mustang cobra 4.6 forged Kellogg crank can easily do 1500hp. I would have thought the stock Nissan piece could do a thousand. Not a lot of parts out there for thos engine. I did find Molnar H beam rods. Only forged pistons I found were close to 1800 bucks. That is quite expensive. Also would like more specifics on how they got this thing to turn 9600rpm. I hear Nismo uses this engine in their racing division. They have a flat plane crankshaft

Have to agree, JE is highly respected in the EcoBoost world. My SHO is built and JE was the only way to go. Im now going to go ahead with the stroker kit and of course the piston of choice from the builder JE Pistons.

I do alot of Cerakote piston coating on our MX race bikes, especially the KTMs as they seem to hold out a bit better on our riders.

Dude you didn't even mention the fact of the different circumstances when it comes to anodizing or non anodizing pistons when you fully anodizer piston it does make it harder however it does also make it subject to wear and under heat contracting and detracting of the anodized metals can cause cracking which can annihilate and inevitably lead to engine failure. I was a roadkill fan for a long time. But this was a poor explanation of the actual product and how it performs. I wouldn't bother posting this thread if I was the product manager if it would lead to unfortunate blind faith in a product unexpectedly failing because there hero or fan were poorly promoting a product that destroyed their dream car they may have been working on for over a decade. Too neglect that fact and to risk crushing a person's spirit like that due to your own fragrant attitude........ Poor form..... do better
